At last I've found a place that can do a lovely traditional Sunday lunch with fresh vegetables and proper roast potatoes! Great meal and staff were lovely and great value for money. I understand that the meat is from a local butcher which is nice to see the chef buys local so happy to support local shops in this great... More

Had lunch today in the Devon Arms - what a pleasant suprise - excellent food and great value for money menu . We asked to meet the chef who was really friendly and genuinely pleased we enjoyed ourselves and the food. Would definitely recommend and will return again soon.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst working in town, I can honestly say after 24yrs of working around uk I've never stayed in such a run down place! The pub itself is fine, but to rent those rooms out upstairs is just a joke! The single rooms are so small u can't even turn round in them, but the state... More

Popped in on the off chance that they would do food after trying two previous establishments (Saturday evening 7.30ish) . Glad previous places didn't do food as the Devon Arms food was very good and excellent value for money . Drink prices very reasonable .Will definitely be back .

This establishment is situated in the centre of town, and we merely popped in for lunch as we were passing by, but what a good find. Ignore the dated interior, as the food was typical pub-grub but was superb in taste, quality, freshness, temperature and size of portions. Two main courses consisting of a large cottage pie with masses of vegetables,... Heard that they did a good Sunday lunch and boy do they. Perfectly cooked with all the trimmings. The small meal for £4.95 was perfect for me large option at £6.95 which my son who has a mean appetite struggled with the size. Local Teignworthy Ales and not a bad drop of vino to boot makes it an affordable and... More

Looks shabby but the food is great and very reasonable. Went the smugglers up the road, not a good welcome there, stuck up .... Just come down into teignmouth, last time I was here was twenty years ago.

Don't be fooled by the slightly shabby interior of this pub. I ordered prawn sandwiches with salad and chips and wow - it was really lovely. The bread was as fresh as could be, the salad was nice and crisp, the prawns were juicy and the chips were real chips, not those silly little tasteless things they call 'fries'. Good... More
