Went there tonight (23/01/2016). Had a good selection of main courses. Had their steak pudding from the specials menu and it was amazing!! Hot, and just simply a great dinner. The latte also is the best latte I think I've ever had so much so, I had two! Overall, good honest food and potion sizes are great... I'm so full,... More

Lovely home cooked food can highly recommend the steak pudding, followed by an Irish coffee!! Didn't have pudding as was full but will definitely be trying the apple crumble next time! Nice friendly people, will be visiting more often. :-)

Have been here many times over the years as a family and as a couple to dine only. The menu is simple but the food is always very nice and it is always hot. Good value and a full stomach. The only two things which could be improved is it is a little dated and the desserts are disappointing.

No longer a hotel but very good restaurant serving good old fashioned wholesome food from roasts to curry and some fantastic desserts eg sticky toffee pudding and spotted dick. Been going here since finding it in the summer. The food is well presented and good sized portions. I don't think that I Will ever tire of this place.

Great staff and another warm welcome from owner Roy. The... More

We stayed here so we could see in the New Year with family. First impressions were that we were not getting anything special for our £44 per night. Actually what we got was a room with electrics that seriously need sorting (I mean, come on, pinning an extension lead to the wall does not constitute as wiring!), a radiator that... More
