A large hotel just 5-10 mins walk from the town centre and sea front. Room was clean and tidy but dated throughout, it could do with a lick of paint. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really nice.

If you are looking for a 4 + star hotel this ISS not one for you This is a non profit making hotel specialising in visionary impaired people Now having said this the staff were excellent we only took breakfast and the food and service was good I must admit the rooms are very tired and are in need of... This was our first visit – chosen because of the gardens and the pool but it has been so much more. We met some lovely people and learned so much. Our room was spacious, overlooking the gardens. The bed was very comfortable – we slept so well. There was bathroom with shower over, plenty of hanging space in the room... More

We have stayed here twice now. Room this time was a Club room, with a sea view. There was an ensuite with a shower, large walk-in wardrobe with good hanging space and good drawer space in the room too. Normal additions: hair-dryer, tea and coffee making, alarm clock etc. What makes this unique is the way it caters for visually... More

We were a group of 10 adults from the British Polio Fellowship (Worcester branch). We have an annual branch holiday with needs for people with disabilities. We had previously stayed at the organisation's Bognor Regis Hotel in 2013 and had a great time. That hotel has sadly been sold hence the reason for choosing this one. We found all rooms... More

I would compare this hotel to Fawlty Towers! It is tired and in need of a complete revamp. We travelled with our two kids, although one is 18, they had a twin room which was big and comfortable but the shower didn't have a constant temperature and one of my boys nearly burnt his foot, the water was so hot,... Took a chance with this hotel as it was a little out of town, but hey it was really good fun, the staff were so helpful and had a good sense of humour. Breakfast was good and the location was great. You have to take a chance on the pool, because when we arrived it was closed for an outside... More

I would say that this hotel is overpriced for the standard of the rooms, and for the quality of breakfasts,, also the rooms we thought could do with being cleaned better,, i know its geared towards visually impaired ppl, but that is no reason to let standards slip, the gardens are fantastic and the hotel is in a great location,... I've just had to remake the bed from scratch as it's got a baby wet proof mattress protector under the cotton sheet so sweating and crinkling all round. I'm surrounded by noise from the thin walls and creaky floors. No Internet in the rooms as standard. not coming back here.

My husband and I and our cocker spaniel stayed for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and found the hotel delightful. All the staff were young people but they did an excellent job and were a credit to the hotel. They were fantastic with the visually impaired and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and the... More
