Lovely breakfast and friendly staff Bedroom very old fashioned with a dirty cream carpet and shabby 2nd hand furniture, bedside lamp loose and dangerous. would be a lovely place if some money was spent on it.

Living in the village for many years i have been a regular visitor to the Cockhaven. We expected changes when it was taken over by new management so it was no surprise when the menus were reduced and prices increased. However the statement above about the rude male manager being DRUNK is a true statement i have witnessed him curse... More

Visited the Cockhaven Manor Inn for a evening drink and found the Manager (Andrew) to be incredibly rude and drunk and generally unpleasant. As a location I find the Cockhaven Manor to be a very pleasant place to spend an evening but unfortunately the Manager has now ruined this.

You could tell this place was pet friendly as there were dog hairs everywhere. Perhaps it was the cleaners day off. I'm glad we got this on a last minute deal as had we paid full price we would have been highly disappointed. Tiny room with even tinier en-suite facilities. Couldn't stand upright in the shower at 6' tall. Trouser... More

Had the last room so a bit wary. It was a bit tired but clean and bright and a very comfy bed. All the staff were friendly and seemed to go out of their way to please. The wifi didn't quite make our room but we weren't in it for long so no prob. It's only been under the new... More

I took a friend who had not visited the Cockhaven for twenty years for a meal there last night. We try to visit different restaurants every six weeks or so. I knew the standard but even I was pleasantly surprised since my last visit, which has been since the new owners have taken over . The quality of the food... More

I recently booked a twin bedded room as we were attending a Rotary function at the Cockhaven. The allocated room had a double bed and an en suite that was a joke. There was no mention on the records of our twin bedded room. They had no other room to offer us, and did not offer any help for us... More

Excellent customer service from the moment I arrived, all the staff were pleasant and couldn't do enough to help, the room was clean and tidy and was cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. the views and location is exceptional, the food was excellent along with good presentation, it's the best choice of breakfast that I've never had from fresh fruit... Stayed here as visiting nearby vineyard, 10/15 mins walk away. Able to leave car on site at 9:30 in order to do this. Staff very friendly, owners very welcoming. Room 11 has a good view of the River Teign, four-poster bed, and an extremely large bathroom ( I've stayed in smaller rooms than it! ). Is in a quiet location,... More

Staff was friendly, diner was ok, parking was free, view from room was lovely, room was ok (bathroom was mouldy). We stayed at nicer places on our trip for that price. Local Pub about 3 min walk away is cool to hang out.
