Lovely setting on the harbor with great views and nice walks. I was a bit disappointed as it didn't live up to the recommendation I received from a guide prior to our stay. My room was spacious and nice but overlooked the kitchen ventilation equipment which was quite noisy. All necessities were provided but no real amenities. We ate dinner... More

We were passing through porthleven on the way back to St Agnes and decided to stop for a drink and a spot of lunch. You are spoilt for choice as there are about 10 places dotted all around the waterfront. I fancied a pint and it was the words Cornish and Pasty that drew me in. The Harbour in is... More

We have a harbour view room as which is lovely. The view is perfect and technology room well looked after and serviced. All the staff from cleaners to breakfast, to bar staff have been excellent. Cheerful and helpful at all times. I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I visited Portleven for four days during May, although this is a very old building we found the room very comfortable, and the en-suite was spacious,we did not use the ear plugs the staff had left in our room, a live band played there on Saturday nights, my wife slept through the music and I watched TV, the... Had a smashing full cooked breakfast at the harbour inn, best I have had in Cornwall! and at a reasonable price. Superb friendly and fast service. High level of cleanliness and presentation. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Cornwall.

During our week self catering in Porthleven we went to the Harbour Inn 3 times. First to eat on the Friday evening. Great local fish and cheeses. We went again on the Saturday after we had eaten for the live music with a band called Citizen Smith. Great evening was had. On our last night, Thursday we went along for... More

Dropped in on a sunny evening with friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food served. Friendly service, great meal and brilliant setting right next to the waterside in Porthleven with great outside seating area. One minor downside, they ran out of Merlot but the Shiraz was equally good so the ladies were happy

Second time visited this pub. The food quality is average to good and what you would expect from a typical pub meal. prices very cheap for the area. Staff friendly and helpful but the real draw of this place is the beautiful view overlooking the harbour. (This takes it from a 3/5 to 4/5. St Austell brewery very good with... More

The location of this hotel is great, room was very clean and spacious and staff very friendly. We booked a family room at the last minute and stayed in Porthleven as a stopover. When we arrived we managed to find parking close to the hotel, and staff very welcoming on arrival. Our room was not located as part of the... More

We stayed here 3 days ago. We were at Porthleven for a family wedding. We stayed for 3 nights and we were not disappointed the accommodation is spotless and lovely size bedrooms. I must say it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, a lovely nights sleep. Tea and coffee and biscuits. Lovely shower or bath... More
