I loved my stay here. But it is not for everyone. This is not a sterile hotel with cookie cutter amenities. It is antique and unique. Family run, this former mansion has a friendly, accommodating staff and an old-world feel. I was given a great rate as a walk-in, and since there were not many guests at the time, I... More

A fantastic place in Büyükada. A historic 200 years old monsion feel like when people have made the journey himself. The hotel is serving people in a family environment rahat feels like at home recently completed a sea view room bathroom quite comfortable. Breakfast in the sounds of birds in the garden was fun. Locadet accompanied by beautiful music cafe... More

I didn't stay here but I did stop at the terrace cafe for a coffee and a snack following my bike ride round the island. I have to say it looked lovely and if I did ever return to the island, I'd definitely make this my first choice. The coffee was excellent, food freshly prepared, service friendly, and the wi-fi... My two children, husband and I enjoyed our stay here a couple of weeks ago. It offered a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Buyukada. Huge rooms, outstanding views, great dining, charm and history, and run by a very nice couple. In fact, our sole criticism was that the shower filled up and there wasn't a plumber on... More

We booked a suite at this hotel through Booking.com at a very fair rate and had reasonable expectations for our family of 4. Soon after checking in, we began to realize this was a special place. First, the hotel is truly historic, as it was built as a stand-alone mansion around 150 years ago, and gorgeous. The high ceilings, wood... More

The Hotel staff/ owners lack hospitality: the bathrooms were not clean, the breakfast was below average and the rooms are overpriced. We would not reserve or recommend this B&B to anyone we know and I hope this Review is considered by the Hotel management

The hotel is a beautiful historic building and the rooms are clean and lovely. The breakfast is outstanding and served outdoors in nice weather on the terrace or patio. The location is quiet, just far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to beach and waterfront. The single drawback is the lack of a private bathroom.... More

Buyukada itself is a great place to have vacation, and the location of the hotel is fantastic, 10 mins walk to the pier, the restaurants, the local markets etc. and the private beach, so basically the location is very central. The staff is quite friendly, in fact it is a family run hotel, so basically they are the owners. The... More

Ecclectic, funky but not up to standards.....too expensive. Shared bathroom..the building may be historical but it is not really good for a hotel. İf you stay at Buyukada, choose a place on the seaside with a view.

We ate at the terrace of this hotel on our day trip to the island because of the charming appearance of the exterior. The host was charming and relaxed. He said his wife was going to cook the lunch so we anticipated a lovely lunch. The salad was fairly good - small serving. My husband ordered the schnitzel - blackboard... More
