Hya, just got back from Staying at the Castillo del sol apartments, and we had a brilliant holiday,, They were basic self catering apartments, we had a cooker with two rings with a combined oven and grill, but no kettle, or toaster, but you could hire these from reception, but we didnt bother, if we wanted tea, we would just... more

What can I say... came to these apartments after recommended by friends... and they were exactly what I expected... Clean well maintained... pleasant friendly staff.... and as for LORRAINE and her entertainments.... well what a find ... she made the holiday for us all... they get lots of repeat business which is a good sign... will definately return again more

Went to Castilo del sol in October 2008. First time EVER ALONE !!! I had the best time ever. Rooms are basic but very clean. Nice little balcony with sea view. Having booked a last minute deal our options were limited - but we struck gold with Castillo del sol. Rooms are great for the price. Spacious, well equipt and extremely clean! Excellent if you have children. Lorraine the entertainer keeps them entertained most of the day and night. Fishing, mini golf, For the adults she does a pool tornament , aqua aerobics and water polo.And she doesnt hassle the hell out of you like some entertainers or even speak on the mic before 12 which is good for the hangover people.The... more

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at the Castillo and can assure every one they should ignore most of the negative comments about staying here. The Hotel pool is cleaned daily, having seen it done with my own eyes!!! Chemicals are released overnight into the pool and at around 8 AM a man physically cleans out the pool with brushes etc.... more

Rooms were basic but EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and comfortable. ALL staff were more than helpful, and very polite and friendly. Pool area is extremely well kept.
