The staff was quite friendly, but we expected a different standard, according to the fact that the hotel is advertised as a 4 stars hotel. It is actually a 2 stars hotel. Therefore, it is way overpriced. The rooms are small and the furniture must be at least 10 years old, but the biggest problem was the bathroom. The pipes... More

We were due to stay in the Hotel Comandor located next door to this hotel, but as we had booked late on in the season we were ushered into the hotel next door, which on initial impressions I was disappointed with the service (booked through Booking.com and would have been nice to have been informed that the Hotel closing early... We've spent one week in Mamaia. The hotel was familiar, the staff was friendly (we loved that almost everybody could speak hungarian). Personal was not so kind, food not so good and is definetely not a four stars hotel; small rooms We reserved a room with extra bed for our child and when we arrived we didn't find it. They brought us late in the night one old campaign bed with no excuse.

Overall the hotel is ok for young people without children. The prices are too expensive for the relatively poor confort. The room was not clean, the bath was broken and wasn't repaired. We don't recommend for families. Too expensive!

We were there this summer. Please check your minibar before you enter the room and ask for the bill before you pay! The girl at the front desk and also manager let us pay too much and when we told this "they didnt remember" how much we payed! The cleaners stole from our minibar and they wanted us to pay... More
