My husband and I , just returned from one week holiday at Vega Hotel in Mamaia. For many years we have spent our summer holidays abroad ( Greece, Turkey). This year we decided to try a hotel in Mamaia. We have been very much impressed by the professionalism, customer care and dedication of the hotel team for the guests. The bed... More

I had some doubts before booking this hotel because of some negative things I read on Tripadvisor, but we had a lovely stay at this hotel in one of the senior Suites. Lovely sea front view and nice suite. Very good location. Great beach area, very beautiful and great beach bar with lovely drinks and cocktails. Nice staff. Nice beds,... More

Dear Mrs. Linda, We are deeply indebted to you for your generous review, concerning both our services and our employee. Your concern will be immediately brought to the attention of the management team, since it is not the company's policy to treat employees in this manner, and no matter the type of argument, it should be held in a professional... I stayed at the Vega on an off-season business trip. My expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The building itself has been completely redone from its Communist-era interiors and, while not up to western European Five Star levels, is clean, quiet, and comfortable, with good security. Staff are well-trained and multi-lingual, with prompt and willing service. I didn't... More

There is no point in trying to draw comparisons when stopping over in Mamaia, Constanta. The area has been set up for in country holidays and most if not all the hotels in Constanta are geared up to servicing holidaymakers, but, there are exceptions and this is one of them. Its well presented, clean, friendly and the staff are very... More

Never ever in 1000 lifes this hotel is not a 5 star. Standard room is like a prison cell like dimension. You need to give priority if you want to move inside. Balcony extremly small Bathroom with shower very small The bed is for liliputs. ....and they charge you per night much more expensive then in Nice or St. Tropez.... More

Vega is one of the most well known 5 star hotels in Mamaia. Compared to other hotels in the same category from other countries like Spain, Italy or Turkish hotels, I'd say that 4 stars would have been more appropriate. The rooms are nicely and tastefully decorated and I like the restaurant because the service is great and the food... More

Dear Alexandra, Thank you for stating your opinion on the services our hotel provides. We are happy you felt we offer first class service and accommodation, since this is all we can hope to deliver to our guests. In the same time, we are sorry you don't like the resort as a whole, as much. Although most of your review... More

I have stayed at the Vega a few times. Lovely staff, great pool area, nice breakfast. Rooms are nicely decorated. Only complaint is that the rooms are VERY hot. Air conditioning does not work well at all.

I have visited Mamaia few times the last years and can strongly recommend Vega Hotel for travelers that comes here for period of 1-7 days. Is definately the best hotel in Mamaia. Great breakfast and restaurant. In the summer evenings the hotel has a amazing restaurant/bar/lounge that is worth a visit. You need a taxi to visit the nicer clubs... More

Dear Jonathan, Thank you for your recent review of your stay with us last year. This is my 3rd time in Hotel Vega, every time I come here it feels like coming back home. The Staff is very accommodating. This is a beautiful hotel on the shores of the Black Sea, just north of downtown Constanta. The prices are very reasonable (especially compared to a US resort of the same caliber). Breakfast is included and is also quite substantial and very delicious. I used almost all the facilities (except the spa, but maybe tomorrow!) and have been very happy... More
