Villa Rosa is only about an hour's drive from Florence but in the middle of the Tuscan country side. All the views from all the windows over-look the virgin forests,Vineyards and olive groves that Tuscany is famous for. The spacious rooms, with four poster beds, are pure luxury. The BEST are the evening meals, home cooked by a master chief... More

We visited Villa Rosa just in the beginning of the season and we could enjoy a tranquillity of the ambience. Everyone took a good care of us and we are happy with the family-style service. Please note that google maps is showing not the right way to get there (from the back of the garden) so contact someone before driving... More

We stayed only one night at this pleasant family-run hotel between Panzano and Radda. The hotel, which sits above the road (SP 2bis), commands a beautiful view of the “round wood” and is surrounded on the other side by vineyards. Our room in the back was small and pleasantly old-fashioned - those in the front can be larger and have... More

Stayed 2 nights here and really enjoyed it, unfortunately we didn't get the chance to just relax and hang around the villa but its a great location close to resteraunts, wineries and cute towns. We took the family room which was very big and the best verandah, we loved sitting on the patio drinking red wine, eating cheeses and salamies... More

We have enjoyed the warm and welcoming hospitality of the Avuri family, proprietors of the charming Villa Rosa, many times over the years (our most recent stay being for eight nights in July 2013). We prefer one of the two terrace rooms, but have found all rooms to be very nicely decorated with incredible views that offer excellent value for... More

This is our second time visiting The Villa Rosa. Once in September 2010 and the second in August of this year. We went with friends and their grown kids that had never been to Italy and we did several cities and a relaxing four days in Chianti at the Villa Rosa. While the temperature was hot during the day, the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. The villa is charming but in need of some upgrade. We stayed in 1 night for dinner and for 25 euros per person was excellent value for money. The food was amazing. One member of staff out with the family was not very friendly. My partner and I enjoyed a bottle of wine on... More

This is a beautifully constructed villa that longs for some attention to detail, which I will explain. But before I do, let me qualify my comments. Over the past 7-8 yrs., we have stayed at probably 2 dozen different B&B's/Agriturismo's in Southern Europe. So we have experienced all that one typically does...old, charming buildings with funny door/window latches, lots of... More

this place is to be found in some truly exotic countryside. yet even though it is on a main road, it is hard to find. no GPS will find it for you. it's in a sort of no man's land between Panzano in Chianti and Radda in Chianti. The building is quaint, but rather run down. everything works, but with... More

We loved this villa. We stayed last summer and still talk about it. Out room had a balcony and we enjoyed the pool. Dinner was fabulous, although we dined alone one night (romantic though!). We also loved baby Hugo, the dog, and hope he is well. Definitely stay here; Panzano is a charming town also, as are surrounding scapes.
