My fiance and I recently spent 2 nights at Villa Armena Relais. The villa is a newly renovated, 600 year old estate that has been painstakenly redeveloped for two years to perfection. There is not a single element that could be faulted; the service (Edoardo and his wife, mother and of course Franco are amazing) was superb, the rooms, grounds... More

I visited Buonconvento last year, but at the time Villa Armena Relais was under construction. I loved the small medieval town so much that I decided to make another trip, but this time it was even more wonderful because the Villa was complete. Elena and Eduardo were very friendly and helpful going out of their way to make you feel... More

At the time of my visit, Villa Armena had just opened and the pool was still under construction. The 10 rooms and Suites are different from each other, all exquisitely and elegantly decorated. Elena's personal touch and great care are evident, making Villa Armena unique and quite distinctive from any other so-called "Tuscan" properties. The pillow menu caters to just... More

My partner and I stayed at Villa Armena for four nights in late August 2012 as part of a short break – we were both delighted with the experience, and I’m more than happy to wholeheartedly recommend a visit. In my professional life I need to stay in five star hotels around 70 nights per year, and hence feel fairly... More

We just returned home from Villa Armena, where we had an amazing time,a perfect vacation. If you want to get away from the crowd, and enjoy your privacy in luxury, this is the place to go. Elena and Eduardo went all their way to make each and every guests happy. The decor, the garden, the food(the wonderful chefs)the rooms are all just up to the... More

We had a great time at the Villa Armena. We enjoyed the beautiful Tuscan landscape and the great restaurated old building. As mentioned in other opinions there are indeed some things to do but they didn't bother us. The design and the size of the pool eat my expectations. A great plus for the place is the size of it.... I had made a point to myself not to reply to any review - bad or good - as I did not want to influence in any possible way the judgment of those who read it, but this time I must do so because it is only right and proper that I reply to this defamation. In order to better... More

We have just finished a 2 week holiday, which ended in 4 nights at Villa Armena. After 10 days of hopping from place to place, we were really looking forward to a relaxing few days. After driving up a very long, windy and bumpy road, and through a big rusty old gate (it can't be this way surely?), we arrived... More

A touch of hospitality and cordiality. We spent 2 great nights in Villa Armena. Located aside the main road, in the hills and surrounded by aged cypresses, it was a perfect getaway for our coulple. With absolute hospitality and friendliness of Edoardo, his wife Elena and his charming mother Laura, we felt ourselves not only the guests of the villa,... More
