We enjoyed our stay at the the Villa Armena tremendously. Lovely family run villa with many wonderful personal touches. It had the feel of a high end bed and breakfast but with much more privacy and professionalism. The meals and snacks were delicious and they provided nice options for our children. The views, grounds, common areas and rooms were beautiful.... More

After a long but picturesque drive from Pisa via Siena, we pushed our Fiat 500 rental up a long and winding road to Villa Armena. Their pre-sent instructions were spot on, no sat nav can find this ace, and that is indeed part of its charm. Being cut off brings an instant relaxation. We discover landscaped grounds and a beach... We stayed Three days at this beautiful hotel in July. As an Interior designer I seek hotels that inspire me, and this truly did! It was beautifully decorated in every room, and the bathroom in our suite had lots of luxury details. We loved the pool area, though the water could have been a little warmer. Nice base to explore... If you're looking to get away from it all and have a quiet, most enjoyable experience, then this hotel is for you. It's very luxurious and the staff are fantastic. We quite enjoyed our dining experience and our kids loved being able to watch the chef preparing our meals from the viewing window. The pool is very pretty but a... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights recently in July and after reading the amazing reviews and seeing the awards that Villa Armena had recently won, we were so excited. Maybe because of all the great reviews, my expectations were high, but unfortunately our experience didn't meet expectations. It was a lovely hotel. Lovely breakfast, lovely room, clean... More

Having just been there this week with my wife, I can't share enough pleasure about the property. In the middle of nowhere it is an oasis in Italy. The care that was put into the property and its renovation from the food, the service, the rooms, the bathrooms and the grounds makes it a diamond in the rough.

Although the hotel is beautiful and a perfect hideaway, we were very much disappointed. The first thing that welcomed us to our room was a sign that told us: "it is strictly forbidden to consume your own food in and around the hotel. Failing to comply with this rule will result in a charge of 25 Euro per day and... More

Dear Bulutsuzl, We both know that what you wrote is just completely false. And we both know that you threaten us of writing a very bad review, as you did - congratulations!!! - if we were not going to give you a "special price". Shame on you. My wife and I had the fortune of spending 2 nites at Villa Armena in June 2014. The villa has been beautifully and painstakingly restored and decorated to a grace and grandeur only found in gorgeous Tuscany -- all by the husband and wife team of Edoardo and Elena (with adorable baby Leonardo!). The furnishings and appointments (many of which... More

Perched atop of a hill at the end of a long unpaved climbing road (narrow and with many potholes), this Renaissance Villa offers modern accomodations with fabulous views of the gorgeous countryside. The bed is firm and super comfortable, the pillows good (and you can choose different ones), the bathroom absolutely fantastic with luxury amenities. Where the Villa comes short... More

An outstanding property which has been renovated to the highest standards by the owners. A great deal of thought and good taste has resulted in a retreat which matches the wonderful surrounding countryside. Eduardo and Laura worked so hard to make our stay memorable and we would not only recommend this location, but will return. I can sympathise with and... More
