If arriving by night don't be scared as it is on the middle of nowhere but totally worth the trip! A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location, when leaving the hotel in the morning the views were amazing! We stayed in a great great room, could not ask for more! Clean, cosy, comfortable! And Laura was just amazing, a perfect... More

Other reviews rightly talk about the private location, the amenities, the modernity of the rooms in a historic building, but what made our stay so memorable was the attention paid to us by owner Eduardo, and especially his lovely mother, Laura. Our first room had some issues with the water in the bathroom, but Laura helped us immediately change rooms... More

Nestled in the Tuscan country side, this is the perfect place to base out of for your explorations. Not only is it beautiful and serene, but also has some of the best food we had on our trip. The sommelier makes the perfect selections. The bathrooms are so luxurious. All and all, the only problem you will have is having... More

Definitely off the beaten path, which was great after the hustle and bustle of Florence. Check in was fast, staff was courteous. Room was wonderful, clean, large and what a bathroom. Bed was excellent, linens of high quality. Walking around the grounds was very calming. Breakfast was great. Would recommend if you want a quiet, out of the way place.

This beautiful old building has been turned into a haven for comfort and fine dining. It is beautifully situated from which to explore the countryside, and as a jumping-off point for visiting Siena and other lovely hill towns. The breakfasts are outstanding, and sommolier/hostess Laura provided outstanding guidance through not just the fine-dining menu and wine list but around the... More

We stayed at Villa Armena recently for three nights during the first week of October 2015. Our overall experience was exceptional. Our room was beautifully appointed and it was truly an oasis. The culinary and in-house sommelier experience was excellent and authentic. Laura the sommelier was knowledgeable with her wines, particularly Tuscan wines and, she and Eduardo were wonderful hosts.... More

This is a very private hotel, well off the beaten path The dirt road is about 6 kms and well worth your time, drive carefully! But once here, you are in paradise. lush gardens and a reconstructed farm house that turns into a fantastic 10 bedroom villa with a fine dining room and cellar. First rate furnishings and ultra modern... More

Just a few Kilometers outside of the very quaint Tuscan town of Buonconvento. The family that owns this beautifully restored property is friendly and very accommodating. The husband and wife (she is the designer/architect) along with her mother in law have much to be proud of with Villa Armena. Very comfortable, clean, well decorated rooms. Georgeous views of the countryside.... More

We are high maintenance travelers and proud of it. This is a wonderful small hotel, in a lovely quiet location, off the beaten path, where you are treated like family. Laura and staff are warm, accommodating hosts. We were told many times "you are at home here" , and we truly felt that way. Rooms are beautiful and meals are... More

Had a great vacation in this property last month. Excellent location, Villa has all the amenities that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The villa is located atop a hill and you can go for a walk in the morning or late afternoon and enjoy the nice view and the Tuscan fresh smells that it offers. The only... More
