We ate at the restaurant. What a stunning location. What decidedly average food and wine. Especially considering the €240 bill for two people. This is home cooking a best. We ate at Trabucco di Mimi (near Peschici) a couple of nights previous to this and the food was far better and the bill half as much

We saw the beautiful views from the restaurant cave overlooking the sea and we just had to stay there. It looked amazing! On arrival, there is no parking near the hotel, which is fine, but bearing in mind we had a 16 month old child with buggy etc, reception did not even offer to help. Obviously an old building we... Location fantastic and easy walk into town, parking a bit difficult- streets very narrow and lots of cars packed in. Right on the water front with rooms overlooking water, rooms a bit dated and mash of style / furniture but fine for one night. Of course you go for the restaurant which we found spectacular, ambiance, service, food quality. Staff... More

This hotel should be skipped. If you want to go to the restaurant in the Grotto, I'm sure you can make a separate reservation. The location and view is amazing at this hotel. But somewhere they went wrong in the management of the property. The rooms are sadly outdated, the staff are overwhelmed (or underwhelmed, depending on the time of day),... More

Great location, sitting on a cliff overlooking a dramatic grotto, but the staff was surly and the place a bit run down but the location compensates for it. For me its wire the hangers and the plastic cups...how much do they cost? REst is a bit run down and for $150/night that's not acceptable in Puglia. Town is charming and... More

Amazing view of the ocean and cliffside, the town is great to explore as well very romantic night life with bands playing throughout the night. The hotel room is absolute junk in terms of comfort, you are basically paying a 4 star price for the view. AC doesn't function prepare to sweat in the night. The cave restaurant view is... More

We had stayed in town so that we could visit the restaurant and the room we got was the best in the hotel but the fact that the Aircon didn't work and the hotel owners seemed like they didn't really care was a little off putting.

my GF and along with a traveling companion had dinner at this magnificent restaurant. We were staying in Bari and took the short train ride to the town where the restaurant is located. We walked from the train station to the hotel\restaurant. It was only a five minute walk. The restaurant is gorgeous in a beautiful seaside grotto. The food... More

Most beautiful view on the water ever! Gorgeous location and perfect for exploring the surroundings. Clean hotel with lovely friendly staff. The room was a little old, the door to the room next door was locked but people kept trying to walk in. We had a slow breakfast with the staff admitting they were in a bit of a mess... More
