We had a superior room with lake view for a week, we were amazed at the fantastic view over the lake and mountains, and across to the small town of Gravedona. The hotel is in a great position with no road noise, we relaxed around the lakeside swimming pool which is the cleanest pool I have ever swam in! Everything... More

a great location, short walk into the small town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The views from the outdoor pool area are stunning. Staff and facilities very good, breakfast good also. Would defo recommend this to anyone. We didn't have a lake view room but would recommend that you go for this if you... More

After our trip from Portland, OR our travel agent said to take a couple days on Lake Como to rest up before starting our whirlwind travels through Italy - she booked us at Hotel Regina and we could not have been more pleased! The view was outstanding, service was friendly and efficient and the little town of Gravedona was picturesque.... More

While I share the sentiments of the previous comments with regard to position, the wonderful sounds of the lake at night, I fail to understand how anyone can call this a great hotel. With temperatures outside soaring to high 30's for weeks on end, the hotel has no air conditioning!! The bathroom and shower are minute - and everything is... More

Fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping on the shore under your window. Wake up in the night to see the silvery moonlight reflecting down the length of the lake. Spend the day by the pool surrounded by snow capped mountain scenery watching the odd ferryboat pass by. Take a trip to palaces and gardens and even, aided by... More

We stayed here for a week when the weather was blistering hot and made full use of the gardens and pool to enjoy 'dolce far niente' which literally means "sweet doing nothing" or "Delicious idleness". Sheer indulgent relaxation and blissful laziness, being deliciously idle. We booked a superior room on the second floor so had a large terrace to sit... More

Perfect location (5 min walk from the city center) with an amazing view on the lake. When you swim in the pool, you have the impression you are in the lake! The staff is very kind and takes great care of its clients. Their advice is spot-on (restaurants, activities, shops, ...) and always given with a smile. The rooms are... More

My Fiance and I stayed here on a post graduate school adventure. We stayed here given the reasonable prices and loved every minute of it. It was clean, beautiful and the staff was nice. The only downside, is that it is a bit far from the train station, and it is far from Belagio and Tremezzo, which were two areas... More

The two of us stayed in Hotel Regina for 3 nights over Easter weekend. We found the hotel to be just a five minute walk from the ferry stop (and only a 2 minute walk from the bus stop) up on a hill in a gorgeous setting. Upon arrival, it became immediately clear how lovely and helpful the staff were.... More

Hotel itself is simple but functional and very clean. Room was a very good size and included one queen bed a single bed. We also had a door to a balcony overlooking Lake Como. The view of the lake from the balcony was absolutely perfect and we were able to leave the window open at night, keeping the room nice... More
