We had a lovely stay here, with very friendly staff, and well versed in the activities around town. They even packed us lunch to head out to Skelligs Michael for the day, for a nice boat ride, and very interesting tour. The breakfast was top rate, and the pub next door has good meals and very friendly atmosphere.

Stayed here on the Sunday night of the August Bank Holiday weekend with a group of friends. From the booking I made over the phone to checking out on Monday, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant on Sunday night at the Captain's Table was delicious and the atmosphere in the bar afterwards... More

My husband and I took a trip around the Ring Of Kerry and stayed overnight here in The Moorings. Most enjoyable, we were greeted on arrival by a friendly girl who showed us to our nice quiet room, no.17 @ the back of the hotel. The room was well appointed, a double and single bed, storage furniture a little dated,... More

Situated right in the middle of the town, this is ideal for anyone wanting to take a boat trip out to the Skelligs (but book in advance!). The rooms are pleasant and quiet, the reception desk very helpful. We particularly liked the in-house restaurant, where excellent evening meals as well as breakfast were available.

We were lucky to get a room here, another party had cancelled. Not many rooms so be sure to book well in advance. If you're planning a trip out to the Skelligs you couldn't find a more convenient place to stay overnight beforehand or afterwards. The lovely couple who run the B&B have contacts among the boatmen who take visitors... More

This is a small B&B which is located opposite the port jetty. The room was spacious and very comfortable, nice shower within bathtub. B&B has restaurant and bar attached. Breakfast was quite a treat: fruits, pastry, bread, cheese as well as choice of hot meal. I chose fish and it was very well prepared. Also had dinner in the restaurant,... More

The moorings was perfect for us...we wanted a clean friendly place to stay while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area. The staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. LOVED Skellig Michael. Recommend walking the Bray Head trail near by.

Beautiful home with a large bathroom and friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and plentiful. We actually were late leaving and the staff stayed for us and assured us we should not rush. We went to the neighboring Bridge Bar for dinner and had excellent soup and veggie curry. In addition, we popped over to The Fisherman's for... More

Nice hotel. Clean. New fluffy towels. The food was wonderful. Breakfast was awesome selection, quick and well presented. Only downside was no wifi. Talking with locals wifi and phones hardly ever work. Even wireless only had single bar. Supposed to be on VACATION, so to check out of daily living was almost a relief. No elevator and room was in... More
