We were delighted with the quality of this Inn. The location is across the street from a small harbour with family-run fishing boats running in and out throughout the day. Very Picturesque location. Our room was large as well as the bathroom. We looked out over the water into the countryside. Food was excellent and spent the evening in the... More

The Moorings is a beautiful guesthouse with a hotel feel, breakfast is to die for and a huge selection of fresh and tasty food on offer, its located right on the harbour with amazing views,, less the 30m walk to catch the boat to Skellig Michael. The rooms are very clean and warm, there's a bar with traditional Irish music... More

my brother an I stayed in a sea view room - great to watch the boats bouncing around in the wind. The room was very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast in the morning- I took a break from the traditional Irish breakfast and went with the lemon sole that was freshly caught, otherwise an extensive menu.

Can't say enough. Food was great. People were so friendly. Rooms were excellent. Bed a little hard for my taste. Met the owner and his son helped my wife take the bags up stairs. Will stay again when in the area.

We stayed with een group of 10 guys. The hospitality was excellent, friendly and willing to help. Eating in the pub was cozy and the food was great. The location and view made it a perfect experience.

Fantastic location just by the sea. Friendly nice people. Nice rooms, good food, and great pub with evening live music. Band with 8-10 persons, the owner was also playing. We experienced a true Irish evening. GREAT !!!! WHAT A PLACE

Stayed here mid September and booked in to one of the superior rooms at the front of the accommodation. You pay a little extra for this but it is well worth it. The room was clean and well equipped even with a Jacuzzi in the bath! The view for the room was lovely overlooking Valentia Island. Breakfasts are excellent. Try... More

Each year, we would travel the ring of kerry, stopping here for lunch. We spoke about the place so much, when plans for a weekend away came up, we opted to bring 3 more couples here. We booked double rooms, which we found to be excessively expensive, but given that it was the summer, we let it go. Rooms very... More

An excellently presented guesthouse. The outside is bright, modern and fits in well with the local area. The bar is open and spacious with lots of seating. There was a large menu covering everything from locally court fish to steaks and burgers. Priced within budget and a good large portion was offered. The quality of the food was excellent, the...
