My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, Monica the hostess was very welcoming and helpful for information and was able to get us two seats on a boat to the Skelligs. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the choice of breakfast was great as well, try the pancakes!

Monica, the proprietor, is most hospitable and helpful in organising your visit. Further, she prepares a lovely breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B which is quite convenient to Portmagee and the boats to the Skelligs.

Beautiful property, spacious room, & wonderful breakfast. We only stayed one night and enjoyed this comfortable B&B. Short walk to the Main Street pub for dinner and entertainment, I reccomend bringing a small flashlight for the walk home. Would gladly stay again.

Monica Hussey must be the nicest woman in Kerry. Full of warmth and comedy she is an excellent host that makes all aspects of the stay easygoing. We spent two nights indulging in the cozy environment while taking in a trip to the Skelligs. She also handles the bookings with a reputable operator and lets you know in advance whether... More

Stayed here for two nights, and so glad we did. It really helped break up the Ring of Kerry Drive. The weather was also not great during this portion of our trip, so the second night meant we were there when the sun did finally come out again. We stayed in a harbor view room on the first floor. It... More

What a great, laid back place to stay before and after my trip to the Skelligs. Monica was so hospitable and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was fantastic! It's a lovely 5 minute walk to the main street in Portmagee, has ample parking, and excellent views. It's well priced, however you can probably find places... More

The location is up the hill a bit from center of town offering a gorgeous view of the inlet and rugged coast. Brea head is just across the waterway and is an amazing backdrop right out the window. Quiet, very comfy bed. Great shower and bathroom. Modern and beautifully renovated inside. Breakfast is spot on and coffe is strong and... More

Monica, our lovely hostess, was wonderful! Although we were uncertain of the Heights location, she willingly directed us on the phone. At Portmagee Heights, they excel in costumer service. The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious and modern. The Wifi was great. And the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend this place.

Portage Heights is a very nice up-to-date B&B. The rooms are well appointed, the showers work well, and the decor is clean and modern (a real change from the country manor house style of many Irish B&Bs). Your hostess, Monica, is very sweet and easy to work with. As the Rick Steves guidebook (yes, this B&B is recommended by Rick)... More

We had booked a self-catering cottage for six that was horrific! We were all tired and downcast and then while driving we saw Portmagee Heights. I called the number on the sign and Monica had three available rooms. As my husband says, "We went from hell to heaven!" Portmagee Heights was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, the breakfast was perfect! Best... More
