We stayed here twice: In 2010 and again in 2013. We wanted to go out to Skellig Michael in both stays, but didn't in the first try as the weather did not permit. We were more lucky the 2nd time around, it was less windy in the morning. But later it became rainy and windy, which made the trip an... More

Plenty of space! There even was an underfloor heating in the bathroom which was awsome! Monica and David where very hospitable hosts who helped us wherever they could. Breakfast was delicious and we had wifi and a tv in our room :-) Thanks Monica and David!

We were lucky to have found this lovely B&B with a terrific view. Monica is also an interior decorator which was obvious throughout this home that the couple built. It was such a treat for a weary traveler. She also served up a visual treat for breakfast served on distinctive dishware and cutlery. We had a very comfortable stay here... More

My wife and I happened upon this hidden Gem in Portmagee Heights in July of 2013 and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the establishment and the hospitality of Monica, our gracious host. We highly recommend this B&B to all travelers. Beyond the great views, amazing breakfast, and the feeling of being at home, Monica went above and beyond what... More

My wife and I stayed here in April 2011, and had a great stay. We weren't able to make it out to the island secondary to weather but overall had a great experience. The breakfast was great and the b&b had a nice charm to it. The hostess was also very nice and accommadating. I would say one thing, on... More

Monica was a great host for our stay in Ireland. We were running late from a trip around the Dingle and were glad that we picked such a welcoming B&B for our stay in Portmagee. She was incredibly responsive with emailing me details about room availability and prices. Not only that, she set up our trip to the Skellig island... More

Monica was just fantastic. She was very welcoming, the B&B was lovely, we had wonderful weather and was able to sit outside and enjoy the great views. Even did yoga to the sun-setting there one evening. That was so wonderful!!

We had a delightful stay here. Modern amenities with old fashioned charm. Our room was stylish the only hiccup was figuring out how to use the multi jetted shower! This was the best breakfast we had on our whole trip:-) Our hostess booked our trip for the following day out to the skelligs and it was picture perfect

A very modern, purpose built B&B. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. Cows almost in the back yard! Quite remote, windswept, rocky coast. Monica is the owner. She lives here with her children and her mother. She is quite gracious.

This is the Ireland that I came to see: the windswept fields bordered by lowland shrubs and a rocky coast with a port nearby. The back yard of this wonderful B&B opens to just such a view. Monica is a friendly and accommodating hostess. She booked our trip to the Skelligs so that we were all set when we arrived.... More
