I have been the guest of Marion (proprietor of Bridgeview) on two occasions and on both, I have been charmed and delighted by the hospitality, surroundings, accommodation and food at this establishment. Nothing is too much trouble and Marion herself sums up just about everything that anyone would be expecting from Ireland. Rather than having the feel of a guest... More

The location is beautiful only a short drive to the charming village of Kinsale. We stayed for two nights and brought our small dog with us. We enjoyed the fresh air and walking the dog along the country roads. Lily, the house dog, is very friendly and loves to meet and greet the guests. We don't normally stay at B&B's,... More

Family of four ( including two teenagers aged 19 ) stayed in Farmview for three nights - we were visiting Cork city and West Cork and it was the perfect spot. Quiet and scenic location without being too remote . Easy access from West Cork or from Bandon / Innishannon. The hospitality from Marion, the owner and manager and Chef... More

Marion went out of her way to ensure we found our way to her home. Once there she recommended great things to do and was especially welcoming. Although we only stayed one night we would definitely return given the chance. The views from the rooms as well as the yard were incredible! Lily, the sweet dog, was also a joy... More

I spent the beginning and the end of my 2013 Ireland holiday at Bridgevie Farmhouse, altogether 4 days. I would recommend it to everyone (and I really do!) and surely will come back here on my next trip to Ireland. It is not too far to go to Cork and the airport, but already in the midst of the Irish... More

What an awesome time we had here. Stayed for Three nights while visiting the area. Marion is one amazing lady. We adored her and Her Dog Lily who is the unofficial greeter at the door. Could not ask for anything more staying here. Comfortable beds for a good nights rest. Outstanding breakfasts in the morning and to die for home... More

We booked this B&B because it was pet friendly. Marion was very accommodating when we had to change our dates so when we arrived we were delighted with the accommodation. We were greeted by Marion with scones and drinks served outside on a sunny afternoon. The views are stunning overlooking the bay and the garden is lovely with Lily the... More

What else can I say but the freshly baked scones for breakfast won me over! We had a nice stay at the Bridgeview Farmhouse. Marion made sure that we had everything we needed and made a delicious breakfast. She even wrapped up the couple of scones that we couldn't finish so we could have them as an afternoon snack. The... You always wonder if the pictures of a property are...accurate. If anything, the pictures of Bridgeview grossly understate just how gorgeous this place is. Our room overlooked the water and the green hills beyond and the view was almost like a painting. Our room was very comfortable, the bed and bathroom were both top class. We slept so well. Marion... Marian is the perfect hostess. She can't do enough to ensure you have a great stay.We arrived fairly late in the evening and Marian phoned a local bar in Balinspittle to ensure they kept the kitchen open until we arrived After a good nights sleep and a wonderful breakfast , Marian took time to suggest an itinerary for our day...
