From the moment that we arrived we felt immediately at home and part of the family. Dorothy and Michael offered us tea and biscuits. She took us round the local area and showed us all the fishing lakes;she even introduced us to a local expert. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. Everywhere we went everyone knew Dorthoy and... More

Dorothy, the owner was so accommodating with us, the hot tub was lit up and robes set aside for our stay, the purple room was so very comfortable with a refrigerator as well, loved it.... and I can't say enough how much I loved the dogs, donkeys, llamas and goat...the nearby lake is terrific for both fisherman and photographers, and... Clondanagh Cottage is a hidden gem, tucked away just outside the tiny town of Tulla, County Clare, Ireland. Our hostess, Dorothy, as well as her lovely family, made us feel like we were family. The house is cozy and warm, and our room was very lovely. Dorothy makes the best full Irish breakfast, too! The views of the country-side are... More

What a spectacular magical venue. Perfect surrounds and gardens. Rooms very regal. Clean, comfortable and plenty of room. Paintings and pictures around the halls are homley and make it a great place to stay. Modern facilities in a historical castle.

My 12 year old son and I just spent 3 nights at Clondanagh Cottage and had a wonderful time. This was the first stop in Ireland and really put us into the right mood and pace for our trip. When we arrived we were greeted like family and it immediately became apparent that my son was all about the animals.... More

From the moment the owner of the cottage picked us up the two ladies at the garage in Tulla and we followed on in our cars we thought it was to be a holiday with a difference. A very rural drive to the cottage takes you past a bog where peat cutting still goes on and an ash plantation which... More

Can't express how wonderful our night at Clondanagh Cottage was. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We had been travelling around Ireland and just get engaged before arriving. We were greeted by Dorothy who was an absolute delight and even left us champagne and an engagement card in our room. The cottage and location are gorgeous and the... More

Clondanagh Cottage is an ideal place to stay for quiet getaway in the countryside. The guest house is more than just an accommodation; visitors don't have to leave the grounds of the property to enjoy their day. Walks can be taken around the acres of surrounding land; along the way, you can stop and visit the animals kept by Dorothy... More

In September me, my wife and mother-in-law had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Clondanagh Cottage. It was our first stop on a great trip to Ireland and it was the loveliest B&B we had the pleasure to stay at. The beauty and charm of the home and farm would not have meant as much without Dorothy and her family's... More
