This was our first place we stayed at and it was great! Dorothy was super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was great, and the dogs are awesome. She also called the local pub to give us a ride to town to eat, and a ride back. That was very helpful and considerate. Hot tub was very relaxing and the lake down... More

A very warm welcome was extended to us and our dog when we stayed at Clondanagh B&B. Set in a lovely part of Ireland and on the shores of the lovely Clondanagh lake the cottage was clean. pleasant and quiet which made for a comfortable stay. We loved the peace and quiet of the area and being able to let... More

This week my Irish friend and I visited Dorothy and family at Clondanagh Cottage for the second time and were just as impressed as the first time. Actually even more so because this time we were able to appreciate some of the many facilities Dorothy offers, whereas last time we were on our own family history trail. This time the... More

Dorothy will make you feel totally welcomed. Directions on the website were easy to follow to this lovely place. I like the fact that it's a bit out of town - to make you feel like you are away from it all. Beautiful donkeys, comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast.

Reaching the cottage was an adventure in itself. We wanted to see and experience the Irish country side and this is what we got. Located on the shores of a small lake in Clondanagh, the cottage sits on a farm with donkeys (must ask Dorothy why 12 female donkeys), horses, alpacas and chickens. We were met by the friendly Dorothy... More

I booked this B&B based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor, and I have to say that the place lived up to them and more. It was the perfect way to spend our first day and night in Ireland. Dorothy picked us up from the airport and was a wonderful host, she really looked after us and made us... More

I can't say enough about the warmth of the hospitality at this lovely little B&B in east Clare. We used it as a base to see Bunratty (20 minutes away), Carraghanowen (10 minutes), Quin Abbey (10 minutes) and the Cliffs of Moher (45 minutes) over the course of two days this month. Dorothy gave us helpful suggestions and made phonecalls... More

This is a gem of a B&B set in the heartlands of Co Clare. It's between the villages of Tulla & Feakle and it is so peaceful you can completely wind down and relax in style. We are a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 10 year old (and a small dog!). We headed away to Clondanagh for... More

We just completed a 9 day tour of Ireland doing the a counter-clockwise tour of SW Ireland. We were traveling as a couple with our two young-adult sons. After our trip, the four of us unanimously voted Clondanagh Cottage as our favorite B&B of the trip! We loved the quiet, peaceful nature of the property, the accommodation was excellent and... More

My wife and I chose to stay at Clondanagh Cottage for several reasons, not the least of which was the lure of the 12 donkeys. We were only in the area for two nights, wish it had been more! Dorothy, our hostess, was amazing. She personally drove to town to guide us to her place, drove us to dinner the... More
