Clean cozy friendly accomodation with lovely helpful host. I just used it as a working base in November/December so didn't get to see or use the local facilities but I'm sure they're great. Make sure you phone for directions from Tulla as the cottage is away from the main road, making it a really quiet and peaceful. Can recommend it... more

From the moment we entered I could tell that this was different to your average B&B. We were made feel very welcome by Dorothy and her family. Mike, Dorothy's husband was playing a trad gig that night and we were invited to go along. We had a great night. In the morning we had a breakfast that kept me going... more

Just had a long w/e at Clondanagh Cottage. Really comfortable, felt welcome even before we arrived. Family run cottage in beautiful rural surroundings. Good breakfasts and we had one evening meal on the night we arrived. Television/seating area so you can relax outside of your room. Very very quite and peaceful surroundings. We slept like logs! I had fun with... more

I'd been told about Clondagnh Cottage by a friend and cannot praise it too highly. Situated between Tulla and Feakle in East Clare it is situated in the heart of the Lakeland. Obviously this makes it ideal for fishermen, many of whom stay there. However, travelling with my husband we found it absolutely perfect for ordinary travellers who want a... more

This was my favorite and most memorable B and B of the five I visited in Ireland. A friend and I were doing a whirlwind one week tour of Ireland. We only got to stay one night, but we both agreed it was our favorite. It was also the least expensive. You get the real B&B experience. The rooms are very... more

Booking a B&B in a different country can be a daunting experience, but Dorothy made the process so very easy. Clondanagh Cottage is a true B&B......It felt like we were coming home every evening when we were done with our day's travels. The scenery surrounding the house is awesome. Inside Dorothy has decorated the guest quarters in a very fun... more

My sister and I stayed 4 nights out of our 7 in western Ireland here at the end of June and we wished we had booked the entire time with Dorothy! She is a wonderful hostess and the cottage was pleasantly comfortable. She has four rooms, a common room and the dining room. I enjoyed the "full Irish" breakfast--kept me... more

We travelled to East Clare because of our love of the music and wanted to stay close to Tulla and Feakle. This B and B is as good as it gets. Clean, bright and cheerful. Dorothy will go beyond the call of duty to help you out with local information. It is a tad hard to find but just phone... more

Having suffered a nightmare stay at Ashford Castle the previous night we were much in need of peace, quiet and a friendly face. Happy to report that all of this was provided by Dorothy and her hard working team of donkeys (eating ginger biscuits is hard work) at Clondanagh Cottage. Dorothy is a fantastic hostess but true to her easy... more
