My daughter and I stayed at the Gizis the last few days of our trip to Greece and it was like the icing on the cake! The view of the Caldera from our private terrace was breathtaking! Our room was simple but very comfortable and included amenities like a mini-fridge, air conditioning, a hair dryer, extra blankets in an armoire... More

If you are going to Santorini for its famous sunsets and stunning views and are on a bit of a budget I just cant recommend this hotel enough. The area of Imerovigili is considered one of the more bohemian expensive parts of the Island due to its extensive restaurant list and ultimately the views. I have had Santorini on my... More

The good: opening your door to an unobstructed view of the Caldera is breathtaking! The pool looked nice, and some rooms had their own private hot tub. We were there very early spring after an unusually cold winter, and it was too cold to swim. The breakfast was decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a... More

We stayed at Gizis in August/14 and had a great experience! The room is big and very confortable (just the bathroom is really small and has no shower curtain) with minibar and a balcony to enjoy the spectacular sunset of Santorini.

The views from this property were spectacular. My husband and I travelled with our 12 year old daughter in August. We spent a total of 3 nights. Upon arrival they had a reservation for 1 not 3 so they were scrambling to get a room together. So I was not sure if we got a smaller room because of this... More

You are really paying for the views here. And yes, it is amazing. We stayed here for 4 nights in July this year as part of a 2 week island hopping holiday. Compared to the other islands Santorini was always going to be more expensive but Gizis did feel slightly overpriced for the stay we had. We were given a... More

This place has the best views of the Santorini caldera that you could ask for! Our bed was stiff/hard, the bathrooms are small & showers aren't enclosed (i.e. water literally gets everywhere), air conditioning is noisy, and bugs/geckos enter the room very easily (sometimes ending up under the covers!) - but the location is just amazing. Less than one block... More

We have just spent 7 days in Gizis and it has just been amazing. The views are some of the best on the island, the coastal path that goes from Fira to Oia is in front of the hotel and although they don't serve dinners or lunches there is a lovely Greek Taverna next door. Is very quite and perfect... More

My husband and I honeymooned here in May of 2014 and it could not have been a better hotel. First off the location is PERFECT! 5 minute walk to Fira and 10 minutes to Oia. (You don't want to stay in either of those places. Oia gets so bottled necked in you literally can't get in or out during the... More

We came to Santorini on our honeymoon and stayed here for 5 nights to get the caldera view experience. The views are definitely this hotel's main upside, along with the reasonably sized pool, which for Santorini is a big deal. The room was nice and clean, but rather small and did not have electric kettle. Also, we had a private balcony, which not many rooms...
