The advertising for the hotel misleads you in to thinking that if you rent an outdoor jacuzzi on the top floor, that you are the only one on the top floor - this isn't the case as there are 4 other rooms on the top, right next door to you. Shine Hotel really added to our vacation experience. The rooms were very basic, but clean and well equipped. The breakfast on the deck each day was a nice touch. The hotel manager was extremely helpful with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. The rates were unbelieveable for the value. I highly recommend this hotel. more

Shine is more than just a great value for your money, it is an immaculate hotel with breakthtaking views of the caldera and no steps down the cliffs.
