It might not be the most prestigious place in the area, but the shady garden terrace and the food are wonderful. We enjoyed great wine from the region and a lovely dinner. Our room - yet again- was functional and adequate for the price. We have stayed here before last year as the hotel is conveniently located close to the... More

My name is Alabri Nader I had the top floor suite, which was unbelievable. There was a huge living/dining room, with a very large open kitchen, three full bedrooms, a huge bathroom (and a seperate toilet) and a small TV area. And we paid including a very nice breakfast with . We'll never get a deal like that again. And... More

Hotel is an about 2 hour drive away from Stuttgart, but probably most people would fly into Basel anyway. Rooms are quite large. Bathroom has a shower, a bit small, but still acceptable. Beds are normally hard and comfortable. Electric plugs are next to the bed, they take German plugs only. Next to the desk are no plugs, except when... More

I can wholeheartedly recommend this very nice hotel! We received a warm welcome with a glass of wine. Very spacious room with a sitting area with a couch and easy chair. Nice bathroom with floor heating. The restaurant serves very delicious food. We were lucky enough to eat asparagues, because the season for asparagues was almost over. Lots of them... More

We went for the upgraded room on the strength of some comments in some of the web sites I reviewed. Near a busy roundabout which made the extra charge for the superior room worth it. Food was well done even if the menu does not change much from night to night. The selection of local wines was good although I... More

I stayed here while visiting a recent trade show and must recommend the facilities. Great little friendly hotel. Super food...breakfast was plentiful and varied and evening meal was fantastic. My room was newly decorated and sadly did smell of new paint...but nonetheless it was very comfortable and stylish. I had a little balcony which would be rather pleasant in the... More

Stayed here one night on our way back home, perfect for a stopver. We had an excellent meal (this is one of the top 400 restaurants in Germany!), but most of all did we enjoy our accommodations. We had the top floor suite, which was unbelievable. There was a huge living/dining room, with a very large open kitchen, three full... More

I went to the hotel in late september for a conference. I attended with 2 colleagues from England, from check in the staff were superb, very humerous and also very pretty. It was lovely weather at the time allowing us to eat outdoors in an area shaded by trees at lunch, with breakfast and dinner indoors. All the food and... More

Old hotel, no elevator, wooden floor. Room has sweet scented because they put aromatics everywhere, and spacious too. There's balcony in some rooms where you can have fresh air. Near to convenience store and the hotel will give you free pass for the gym in the opposite. Delicious meals, lot varieties of tea. You can access internet for free from... More

A German colleague of mine suggested a weekend getaway (I was traveling in Suisse at the time) in Freiburg, Germany. However, when I went to find a hotel, all of them were booked in the city because of a some festival. My colleague then suggested that I try a nice hotel in a small town called Mullheim outside of Freiburg.... More
