We stayed in Mazan so we could ride up Mont Ventoux. Both my wife and I wish we would have planned to spend more time in this fun little town and this quaint hotel. Your hosts are simply the best. Carmelina is the nicest lady on the planet. We highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again in... More

What a lovely place! Quite basic (limited wifi etc) but what a lovely old building in such a beautiful town. Carmelina was a splendid host and couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately i didn't get to sample the breakfast so can't comment on that. Good sized rooms (nice and cool too). Not a lot in the way of facilities but... More

This is a wonderful little hotel in the centre of Mazan. Hospitable owners have safe area for bikes. Ideal for Ventoux. We enjoyed our short stay immensely. Breakfast was excellent providing enough fuel to power up the hills. Hotel is a 16th century building.

Carmelina is a wonderful host, well used to dealing with the refuelling and sleeping requirements of cyclists, walkers and other visitors to this stunning part of France. She quickly understood our need for a substantial early breakfast (5am) ahead of our three ascents of Mt Ventoux. Ventoux is well know but equally spectacular are the roads south towards the Vaucluse... More

A warm welcome from David and Carmélina, the proprietors, only gets more pleasant as the stay goes on. They are very friendly and very helpful - Carmélina even forgiving my awful French (she speaks perfectly good English) and actually helping to practice it. Home cooked food, a comfortable bed, and a nice sized room. Mazan is a great location for... More

My wife and I spent part of our 40th anniversary staying at the quaint but pleasant, Hotel Le Siecle in the heart of old Mazan. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. The room we stayed in was dated but very clean and well maintained. The couple who own and manage the hotel are very pleasant and Mme. is extremely... More

I was there with 3 friends of mine and we were on an excursion to see the famous lavender fields of Provence. It was my first time there. The village itself is quite small and picturesque and the hotel is part of the quaintness. It is run by a very hospitable couple who were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms... More

My wife son and I spent three nights here using Mazan as our base to explore the countryside and surrounding towns. The hotel is in a quiet location facing a large church and far enough above the main road to avoid the noise and bustle of car traffic. The rooms are nicely decorated and pleasantly appointed. Very agreeable and we... More

Stayed for two nights to tour CdeR region for my favourite wines. Hotel is in the old part of Mazan and within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. Use your sat-nav to find it and believe the instructions! I used the chinese and the pizza place down the hill - both good. Hotel recently refurbished and rooms individually decorated.... More

Visitors from Australia. The hotel is an impeccably well-run establishment. It is unpretentious but charming and, though situated centrally in Mazan, offers the peace and serenity of a bygone age. Mazan itself is an authentic provencal village so much the better for being off the beaten tourist track. Mme. is gracious and friendly, always keen to help and to keep... More
