stayed here twice whilst looking for property in the area and have dined here several times since. Accommodation is charming, service is delightfully attentive and friendly and food rivals some of the Michelin starred retaurants If you're lucky enough to be in the area on a Friday morning go to the market in nearby Carpentras more

We stayed a couple of nights in October. Lovely building, efficient service, and pleasant room, if a little sparsely furnished. The pool was unheated, which isn't really 'on' for this level of pricing. The big disappointment was the food. It's expensive, looked very pretty, but tasted very bland. Maybe the chef was off that evening, but on our second evening,... more

The hotel and grounds are simply stunning - even better than I had imagined. On arrival we were greeted by the intoxicating smell of lilies in the hotel lobby then whisked immediately to our charming room, overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool. The room was large, elegant and tastefully, if a little sparsely furnished, topped off with a state of... more

We chose to stay at Chateau Mazan on the recommendation of a reliable guide book and via the feedback from trip adviser. The building itself is beautiful however the inside does not do it justice. The lobby is presentable, a little cold. The internal walls are decorated with cheap posters and our room was stark and uninviting and the bed... more

We stayed at Chateau de Mazan at the beginning of December for one night and enjoyed our stay very much. After traveling around Arles, St. Remy, Les Baux de Provence and Avignon, the Chateau de Mazan is a perfect place to stay and enjoy the wonderful things Provence can provide you! more

After finding the property on Expedia and ready all we could on it - we decided to stay at the Chateau de Mazan a couple of weeks ago whilst travellling through France. We were coming towards the latter part of our holiday from Australia and decided to treat ourselves - and the Chateau did not let us down. Mazan is... more

A fantastic building in a beautiful setting. We stayed for 2 nights and experienced unobtrusive but efficient service, excellent food in a typical french setting. Our room was one of the standard rooms but small and perfectly formed, decorated simply but with nice touches such as the bed canopy and quality bed linen. Peeking into the superior rooms they di... more

We spend a few weeks in Provence every summer at our house in the countryside and often need a hotel for one night as we usually arrive the day before the house is available for our occupancy. This place is a treasure and we will certainly return next year. Beautifully renovated and maintained, this property is a wonderful little retreat.... more

We used Chateau de Mazan as a base for touring the area in early July. We spent 5 nights here and enjoyed our stay very much. We were delighted with our small room with a shower (no tub) because it was different -- not your standard hotel room. The shower did not have a door (which I loved) so we... more

We stayed at the Chateau de Mazan for three nights of our honeymoon. We had a lovely time, and really enjoyed the Chateau. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful (and fluent in English, which isn't a requirement, but is a nice touch). The Chateau grounds are lovely. There's a small garden to sit in, and we... more
