I stayed with my family in this lovely hotel for a few days. We all enjoyed the quirky charm of that historic place with amazing rooms, each with its own design and beautiful garden. We most enjoyed the impeccable service: a very professional staff, attentive to everything and at our disposal for any request. We felt very welcomed. Also the... More

I stayed in this hotel as part of a bike tour, so I don't have a perspective on pricing/value. However, I found the hotel to be a pleasant spot and would recommend it if your travels take you to this town. Lots of great cycling in the area if that is an interest. The property has some interesting history, being... More

The Château has a good location in a charming town but I found the decor and the service undistinguished. We were there with a tour group and there were a couple of other tour groups staying at the same time. Perhaps, the staff was overwhelmed but it didn't feel warm or particularly hospitable to me just luke-warm and perfunctory. The... More

Everyone has there particular bug-a-boo and for me, it's having a shower in my room. In this hotel, I didn't and well, it makes a big-deal difference to me. In smaller hotels, there are limited resources, but my husband and I would have enjoyed our stay a lot more had we felt cleaner. We were in the dungeon (basement level)... More

Everything about this hotel is different and unexpected in the middle of an ordinary French village which has its own particular charm. We enjoyed only breakfast which was really good and consisted of fresh breads, croissants, yoghurts, fruits, jams, etc. if you want to eat in their gourmet restaurant make sure to book in advance of your stay or you... Last weekend we stayed over in the junior suite at chateau de Mazan. It was a fantastic room with a fantastic bathroom. The bath is centered in the middle. All very spacious!!! Bit pricy, but worth it. The breakfast was reasonable good, choice a bit limited but wonderful setting. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We recently stayed at Chateau de Mazan for five nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quirky and theatrical and has a certain charm. We had our dog with us and were made very welcome. We were given a ground floor room with a private terrace. The bed was very comfortable and the wet room fantastic. The parking is... More

Right in the heart of Mazan but quiet and secluded. Good views from the upstairs rooms. Excellent air conditioning made the hotel a pleasure to return to after a hot day out. Good interesting food and friendly service.

Arrived in torrential rain which didn't help! The place itself is very charming although it's rather oddly furnished, quirky comes to mind but so does weird, strange but charming all at the same time! Due to the poor weather there was no where to really sit down and relax apart from the hall area where we had coffee. Could have... More

This beautiful was formerly used by the infamous Marquis de Sade. Throughout decorated with odd novelties, paintings, sculptures and other items with a nod to a renascent France that indulged in opulent parties. Another building across the street, the ‘maison’, contains larger suites. Rooms are spacious, come completely in tiled flooring and with lovely bathrooms. WiFi can be found everywhere... More
