My parents and I stayed here for 2 nights during a trip through Provence. This chateau hotel is located in the tiny village of Mazan, perfect for exploring other more famous Provencal villages. The chateau is very elegant but in a quirky/artistic way. It couldn't be more French. Everywhere you look there are interesting sculptures, paintings, and interesting details. We... More

We spent two weeks here with a painting group. It's centrally located to all that Provence has to offer, but you're staying in a historic yet decidedly quiet non-tourist-infested village. We loved it. Beautiful accommodations and outstanding food (!!!), thanks to Chef Franck Pujol.

I stayed at the Chateau with an organized group of artist for two weeks. The staff and service were outstanding. The food was excellent, always beautifully plated. The rooms and grounds were lovely. It's a challenged to keep 17 guests happy for two whole weeks, but the staff at the Chateau did just that.

We stayed at Chateau de Mazan for two nights in July as part of a group bike trip. We had a tremendous room with huge french windows and a spacious bathroom (no shower) The dining room and lobby area are lovely, with all kinds of interesting art work and statues. We were there in July and were happy to have... More

We spent a few nights here for a wedding. We had a junior suite, which was larger and reasonably comfortable (the pillows and beds could be improved a bit). The place is overall very charming with a nice garden and pool. Good quality breakfast. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening, but friends of ours did, and said... More

We got married at chateau Mazan and it was magnificent. The food, rooms, service and grounds are excellent. Lots of charming furniture and decorative touches. Frederic and his team were very attentive and efficient. This is a great place to stay for a Provençal experience and will provide wonderful memories.

My wife and I stayed for I night on 11 June 2015. The Chateau is located almost in the centre of Mazan and has now been completely refurbished, but because of its location and the small size of the gardens it does not feel like a traditional Chateau. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very... More

Chateau de Mazan just hosted a big event for me and it was wonderful. The chateau keeps its ancient charm, but with modern amenities. The people who work at the Chateau are devoted to doing everything they can to make their guests feel at home -- ask and they'll help. And the food was spectacular -- in the tradition of... More

Great location at the hills of the mytic Mount Ventoux with a great closed parking service, a rather small garden but with enough privacy if you have a room with a terrace. The room was good and large enough, breakfast was complete and the staff willing to go the extra mile if requested. Although you can not compare it with... More

As with other reviewers, the cement mixer is still outside the window! Utterly confused decor giving what could be a stunning property random character with little thought. We have stayed in better hostels. The room we stayed in was horrible, awful shabby chic furniture with such poor quality, lumps of wood nailed together. The bed was like a brick with... More
