Nestling in the heart of the Rhone Valley and surrounded by vineyards, the Auberge du Vin offers a tranquil retreat either to rest and relax or as a base to explore Provence. Linda and Chris are warm and generous hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble. I stayed in an extremely comfortable and spacious room in the main house... More

Just can't say enough good things about this little haven amidst vineyards halfway between Mazan and Carpentras. Linda and Chris are super hosts: they reserved dinners for us at excellent restaurants (and Chris drove us to and from the Auberge la Camarette, so kind), included us on a Chateauneuf du Pape tour that Linda had set up for two advanced... The Auberge du Vin is an idyll amongst the vines of the Mont Ventoux region (very close to the Rhone villages). Linda & Chris have done a great job in setting up a really comfortable Chambres d'Hotes, and together with the wine tasting this creates a fabulous break. They really make you feel at ease from the outset, the bedrooms... More

This was our second visit to Auberge du Vin. This time we stayed in one of the bedrooms in the main house. A lovely spacious room overlooking the courtyard. Once again, we had a wonderful time. The location is fabulous, the hospitality is charming and the breakfast is delicious. One significant improvement is Muscat the resident cat who climbs up... More

Have just spent a wonderful weekend at Auberge du Vin with !7 others to celebrate a 50th birthday. The food was excellent with great wines to taste . We spent a morning having a lesson on classic wines of France from Linda who lectures on wine for the WSET, really interesting. Due to the unseasonal dismal weather Linda then took... More

Linda and Chris, a couple from England who have settled in the south of France, are you ideal hosts for touring the wine region of the southern Rhone and learning about wine in general. And that is not to mention that the place is ideally located in the middle of a vineyards at the base of Mont Ventoux! The house... More

We spent 4 days at Linda and Chris's place during our Honeymoon in October. Our stay was exceptional. Linda had arranged a number of fantastic activities for us to enjoy, so we really made the most of our time in the area, but also had the chance to relax. I am quite a wine enthusiast and I really enjoyed learning... More
