If you want to sample the wines of the Rhone Valley then there may well not be any better place that at Auberge du Vin. In early August this year my father in law and I spent a number of days under the expert wine tutelage of Linda Field, co-owner of Auberge du Vin with her husband Chris. Our three... More

Just returned from another fantastic holiday at Auberge. Great hosts, views & such comfy beds. Lovely company & fantastic advice on the local area. Couldn't recommend it more. Can't wait to return next year, it can't come soon enough!

This was our second visit in two years and it was like returning to an old friends. Nothing had changed (why should it when it was impeccable the first time round?) Linda & Chris did everything to ensure our stay was perfect, stress free and a joy from start to finish. Auberge du Vin is simply (for this reviewer at... More

Hosts Linda and Chris could not be more welcoming and helpful. Their auberge amongst the vineyards with views of Mont Ventoux is charming and after a day's sightseeing the pool and garden are an oasis of calm. Nothing is too much trouble and maps and suggestions are at the ready if required. Linda's one hour wine course was a great... More

We booked Auberge du Vin through bookings.com, we saw good reviews, but we did not exactly know what to expect because it was the first time for us in a bed and breakfast. Well if all B&B’s would be like this one, we would not go anywhere else anymore. The place is a bit difficult to find, but we phoned... More

We had a fantastic time on the Hertfordshire Wine School trip to the Southern Rhone where we were superbly looked after at the Auberge du Vin by Linda and Chris. The rooms were peaceful, spacious and clean, each with great en-suite facilities and views of the swimming pool in the grounds, or across vineyards to Mont Ventoux. Nothing was too... More

Spent four nights chambre d'hotes (have previously stayed in one of the gites on a self-catering basis) at Auberge du Vin - came away feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.... Linda and Chris are excellent hosts - delicious food and terrific complementary wines with the added bonus of Musky the cat!! Wonderfully comfortable bed, powerful shower with plentiful hot water, hair... More

My husband and I just returned from a 2 1/2 gastronomic honeymoon adventure through southern France. We ended our countryside trip here before heading up to Paris. What a fantastic setting Chris and Linda have cultivated. Stunning views, comfortable rooms, welcoming hospitality. We took one of the wine courses and I recommend anyone staying here to do so. The course... More

The French infuse more meaning than the English into the word "impeccable" and that is the sense in which the adjective applies to l'Auberge du Vin. The ingredients: central location + idyllic, tranquil spot amid the vineyards with a mountain backdrop (Dentelles & Ventoux) + lovely self-contained gites and spacious en suite rooms + feel-at-home comfort + welcoming, charming &... Lavender, mountains, vineyards, countryside - who could ask for more? Chris and Linda are superb hosts. You will love everything about this place and the people. Linda is a wealth of information and Chris was a great conversationalist for my husband and his love of cars and motorcycles.
