We stayed at the Hostellerie for the St. Valentine's weekend. I would say there are some Relais and Chateau places in the region to stay at for less. La Cadière d'Azur is a 1 hotel town. I think they are in the process of upgrading the decor but the room Van Gogh is in need of redecorating specifically the cushions... More

The hotel was very nice. It was a bit pricey but quality. The cooking course was excellent value and great fun. Monsieur Berard was very entertaining. The location of the course at the family house in the valley was stunning. Will be back again soon.

This beautiful hotel and spa is situated in a small town in the south of France. The owner runs a cooking school just outside of town on a small farm. We loved the pool, spa, wonderful food and peaceful surroundings. Will be back.

We stayed for a week- end at this hotel in the nice little village of La Cadière d'Azur. The hotel in itself is composed of different houses in the village and we had to go out of the main area to reach our room located in a house overlooking the pool. No umbrellas were provided for the rain. We had... More

Thoroughly enjoyed out stay. We had a beautiful dual aspect room overlooking the pool and the neighbouring countryside and village in the La Bastide building. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as it was too expensive at 22 euros each per day. However we did have dinner in the bistro some evenings. A lovely situation, food very good... More

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely hotel. The gastronomic restaurant was superb and the staff welcoming and helpful. Although the pool is small there were sufficient beds. The village is very picturesque and has bars/ restaurants and shops to browse in. We had a room with a balcony, which we requested and enjoyed but I believe the rooms without... More

This an establishment that takes criticism seriously. A number of the common historical Trip Advisor criticisms have been acted on and the welcome and assistance with luggage (more hands than pieces!) as an example could not have been more impressive. In fact, we (and our two dogs) were instantly adopted and made to feel part of the Bérard family -... More

When we arrived at Hostellerie Berard, we were travel weary and I must confess that we hadn't done our homework on what to expect. Our travel agent had booked us several hotels in the South of France which included this one. It didn't take long to realise that Hostellerie Berard was the jewel in the crown. On our arrival we... We took the cooking course here and it has inspired us years out. Chef Rene Berard is an exceptional teacher, the amenities were perfect and for a great value, plus the camaraderie among cooking class participants was very special. If you are looking to immerse yourself in Provencal culture, look no further - this was by far the best experience... More

Dear friends ! Great your message and thank you so much ! Chef René BERARD is really happy to read it. The cooking course organized by himself since 25 years is a great success and each time, René wants to share with you his provencal feeling, full of tradition and humility ! All best, Danièle BERARD (the wife) More
