The hotel is situated on the narrow Main Street of La Cadiere d'Azur. It is a cool retreat from the summer heat. The owners often greet you personally and everyone is genuinely pleased to be of service. We had a room by the pool and Spa, well appointed and air conditioned. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the village... More

The location is good. Around 1 hour away from Marseille Airport. The hotel building has maintained a look of quite old French village (that's what I was told). There is no lift, which is Ok as you still like to climb the stairs and look outside...but could be an issue if you have knee problem. The lanes are quite beautiful... More

Welcome to a little piece of paradise! What a treat! The family Berard offer a genuine warm welcome to this quaint converted monastery. The rooms for each of our party were delightful, with each one having a different view of the classic Provence countryside. Comfortably individual in décor that is tasteful and homely. Speaking of taste - The cuisine is... More

We had to pinch ourselves to make sure we weren't dreaming when we took a cooking class here. The setting and the class itself blew us away. We've never had so much fun and the lunch in the garden was like a page out of Architectural Digest. So absolutely amazing. We returned to dine at the hotel restaurant and were... More

Honestly, this is the cutest hotel I've ever stayed at and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting the area. The bistro has the best rhubarb tiramisu which I could eat as a main course many times over. Staff are lovely, streets are divine, cute village. Go. Stay here.

I have been to Bérard many times and their restaurant is just perfect with a great service. Try the local rosé wines and you won't be disappointed. The sommelier knows them very well. The rooms are nicely decorated and silent.

We stayed at the Hostellerie for the St. Valentine's weekend. I would say there are some Relais and Chateau places in the region to stay at for less. La Cadière d'Azur is a 1 hotel town. I think they are in the process of upgrading the decor but the room Van Gogh is in need of redecorating specifically the cushions... More

The hotel was very nice. It was a bit pricey but quality. The cooking course was excellent value and great fun. Monsieur Berard was very entertaining. The location of the course at the family house in the valley was stunning. Will be back again soon.

This beautiful hotel and spa is situated in a small town in the south of France. The owner runs a cooking school just outside of town on a small farm. We loved the pool, spa, wonderful food and peaceful surroundings. Will be back.

We stayed for a week- end at this hotel in the nice little village of La Cadière d'Azur. The hotel in itself is composed of different houses in the village and we had to go out of the main area to reach our room located in a house overlooking the pool. No umbrellas were provided for the rain. We had... More
