We first visited Le Crotoy and the beautiful Baie de Somme at the end of a two-week camping and cycling trip last October and ate at Les Tourelles. The location, the seafood and the service were amazing so we resolved to return and have just spend two nights there, which were sadly disappointing. The good news: it is a really... More

First of all, this personnel deserves a big thumbs up all the way for their very friendly service , we stayed in les Tourelles for two nights (we had supper there twice) with three couples. The kitchen, especially the fish, was excellent (apart from one exception: the mediocre lamb filet in the first evening). Breakfast is good but nothing spectacular.... More

We had a good few chats on the phone with the hotel explaining that we like as large a bed as they can provide and accepted a twin put together. On arrival the bedroom was small beyond belief and smelt of a cleaning polish / vegetable cooking blend that was not conducive. We struggled to get this this across to... More

We've stayed here before, simply because the hotel is in a stunning position overlooking the estuary. This time our room had been entirely renovated and was clean, well-appointed, fresh and of course had the wonderful view of the vast tidal plain of the Baie de la Somme. Sadly the food was so uninspiring that you have to think the hotel... More

I was a little bit wary of this hotel as it had such a poor rating on tripadvisor, but was beside myself when we finally reached it (this is our last stop after travelling all day from the Charente on the way home). The hotel is in a fantastic position overlooking the bay and looks very impressive from outside. Inside... More

Prior to our stay I informed the hotel that my husband was disabled and a wheelchair user and could only navigate up or down a minimum of steps. When we arrived we had been allocated a room on the first floor of an annexe at the rear of the hotel. This required navigating three sets of steps down and a... More

close to Paris, Brussels, London there is the amazing estuary called la baie de la Somme. Close to the little town of St valery sur Somme is le Crotoy. small village on the river Somme, famous for ww1 battle but really worth the trip for the landshape and this little hotel which is charming. A great terrace where you can... More

A hotel and town that makes you feel as if you were in a period movie. The hotel is right out of a Victorian novel with a wonderful view overlooking the Bay of Somme. The restaurant is up to snuff. Excellent food with a great choice of local seafood, lamb, cheese, beer, wine and french frites. The room was well... More

We visited Les Tourelles for lunch on beautiful sunny day having been recommended by friends. It has a very nice terrace outside the front of the hotel where they serve food and drinks. The menu was a bit limited but the food was very good - there was four of us and two had fish soup, one had mussels and... More

Just there for two nights and a great place to stay. Enjoyed a lovely dinner and a few drinks after in the relaxing lounge. Great sunset from the outside seating. Shame that the deluxe room that we were shown to originally wasn't ours to be replaced with a smaller but perfectly adequate room. We will return
