We stayed for three of the coldest nights at -3C each morning. But we didn't know until we stepped outside as the hotel was lovely and warm. The room was 'cosy' with no extras. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. So quiet. We ate each night in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Local produce like... More

Lovely little auberge in the country. Friendly reception, very comfortable room. Restaurant full which speaks volumes for the food whilst having no discernible impact on the service which was pleasant and efficient. Very good buffet breakfast although slightly late start if you were in a hurry (which we weren't). Very convenient for the Bay of Somme bird sanctuary.

We booked for 2 nights and had room 11 which is for disabled clients. It was a little strange for the window to open from the bedroom directly into a dining room (actually a roofed openair terrace with canvas walls). On saturday night it was fairly noisey until end of service. We had to keep the window closed until then... More

One a the few hotels in the area we found open on a Sunday! Welcome was warm and room although quite compact was clean & comfortable. Restaurant food and service was very good and lovely buffet breakfast. It's location and Sunday opening proved ideal for a first night stop off ferry at Calais.

We stayed September 2012. We were allocated a room in the annex. This is 500 metres from the hotel and restaurant itself. Not a problem for us as it was a pleasant stroll on flat ground, though it might be too much if you have mobility problems so tell the hotel when you book. Excellent room beautifully decorated, quiet and... More

This is our second stay here as the Logis is very convient for the wildlife (bird) reserve of Le Parc de Marquenterre. The auberge comands a lovely view over the flat fields full of ripe barley, and the marshes and is quite isolated. In better weather than we had there is a terrace to eat or drink out and admire... Struggling to find the place and the frostiest welcome ever should have told us all we needed to know! The room and 'en-suite' were clean, basic and tiny but the restaurant provided a good meal in the evening with pleasant but brisk service. Despite the internet and printed advice dinner appears to be available only between 7:00 and 7:30 and... More

After a slight problem with a toilet flush not working everything turned out really nicely. The restaurant food was delicious and very good value. We had a lovely day hiring bicycles from the auberge and biking into Le Crotoy for the day- wiggling slightly drunkenly home at the end. The rooms are small and not posh but, compared to the... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the Auberge de La Dune. Although our room was a little small it was very clean. The surroundings of hotel were idyllic with views of fields, distant pine woods and creeks of Baie de la Somme. We were only a 5 minutedrive from charming La Crotoy on coast. We were asked if we would have... More

Travelling back towards Calais, looking for somewhere to stay in the Abbeyville area. Usually we stay in Ibis hotels in Abbeyville or Amiens, but as they had no cheap rates available this time I decided to try this Auberge. First time in this style of accommodation, so no real basis for comparison, but we enjoyed the stay and would be... More
