We have been coming from Brussels regularly for the last 3 years. The hotel has seen some refurbishment since our first visit, and has now some "shabby chic" features where before it was just plain "vielle France". Whether it has gained in charm through the modernisation is rather doubtful to me. But what I continue to love about the hotel... More

restaurant makes this logis worth the stop over . Primarily fish and sea food as it should be with its location. Would select the specialities of the house rather than go for the fixed price menus. Overall would stay there again.

We stayed overnight in this hotel in late November. We often stay in Logis hotels, and choose them for the quality of the food. We were not disappointed. We chose a menu with 4 courses, and were also treated to an amuse bouche. The food was all delicious, well cooked and nicely presented. The atmosphere in the tastefully decorated dining... More

This is a friendly place. The fish is good - as you'd expect by the sea - and the service is too. But it is quite expensive for what it is, with set menus at €26 and €33, and they should review the Carte des Vins, which was unimaginative.

To just walk in without any prior knowledge to the downstairs restaurant and have the experience we did was unbelievable. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and this was lunchtime. The staff were amazingly helpful and the food that followed delicious. The restaurant can really not be faulted. The price was more than reasonable and I can only recommend Le... More

We ate here on our one night visit to the area. Considering it was out of season the restaurant was still busy, in fact I initially wondered if we would get a table without a reservation. Was greeted by a very courteous waiter who looked after us both very well. Both had mussels in garlic to start which was lovely.... More

Let's face it, a 2 star hotel in Northern France is always a risk, well, let me tell you - what a fantastic surprise we got. The hotel was clean, the rooms tastefully decorated and big enough to swing at least a couple of cats in, the bed was super comfortable, the shower decent but the best thing of all... More

We've been visiting Wimereux regularly as an extended family for many years. Le Speranza has provided us with a good value for money, well positioned base. Rooms are comfortably furnished and large enough. It's a traditional French hotel, not a characterless modern one. The sea front is less than 25m, and the town centre is a 5 minutes walk. There... A very good value restaurant we stopped at for lunch on the way back to the Tunnel. Chose the set lunch menu for the day which was 3 courses of good quality well-presented food which cost less than €20 a head including drinks. Sat outside on the small 'terrace', ideal in the sunny weather. Service was attentive and friendly. Would... More

A very nice 2star hotel in a lovely little town. The restaurant is good, a 3 casserole logi, but can get very busy as it is popular with locals and brits - so book dinner in advance. See my additional tips below.
