We stayed overnight and treated ourselves to lunch and dinner in the brasserie. A gorgeous room with a small balcony overlooking the beach - busy with kite surfers, horse riders and walkers enjoying a blustery, sunny day. The staff were faultless - friendly, helpful and professional. We had arrived too early to check in but they were quite happy for... More

Last visited 18 months ago in November. This time it was May and the sea was much more dramatic. Bedroom still a good size - indeed my opinion has not changed - an expensive hotel but a good one. It has two good (excellent) restaurants and there are otheres surrounding. The beach and prom are always busy - even with... More

Popped in for lunch on a wednesday, while over in France for the day. I restaurant was well presented and located on the first floor of the hotel, with large windows providing wide views of the coastline and beach. The menu was traditional French. Perhaps a little fussy for my simple English palette, but overall was very good indeed. Service... More

Only actually popped in on a day trip to Boulogne but decided to eat at the Atlantic and take in its gorgeous sea view. it was a girl's day out and wine buying trip and we finished out day off with an excellent lunch at the Atlantic. We ate in the cheaper restaurant which offers a Euro 25 menu for... More

We chose this hotel as a base for exploring the North of France and what a good choice it was. Situated right on the seafront at Wimereux (and only a 5 minute walk into the main part of the town) with 2 fantastic restaurants- one casual and one "gastronomic", secure parking, a large comfortable room with a Nespresso machine and... Right on the seafont at Wimereux with own privcate / secure car park The Atlantic is expensive but you definitely get value for money and the facilities are superb. We were allocated a room on the ground floor with a private terrace facing the sea and seafront and a parking space to the rear right beside our room The room... More

easily my favourite hotel and restaurant in the Calais area, in fact in northern France if I think about it. Family run it has moved with the times and caters for discerning travellers and foodies, all the rooms we have had are excellent, comfortable and luxurious. We have been coming here for over forty years now man and boy. Ten... More

There are other hotels in Wimereux - don't bother. The Atlantic is really the only place to stay. It's right on the front with uninterrupted views over the sea with its ever-changing character and colour and the sunset. Rooms are well furnished with a comfortable beds, fluffy towels and robes and clean light decor. This is a family-run establishment so... More

Stayed there on a Monday night in March, so the hotel was quiet and restaurant closed. Nevertheless made to feel very welcome. The hotel has relatively few rooms, and has an old fashioned comfortable charm. My room was very comfortable, spacious and with lots of attention to detail. The rooms are not cheap - it is just the right place... More

We went on a midweek good value 2 night package with evening meals for an Anniversary celebration. Our room had a comfortable bed and wonderful view of the Atlantic. Very quiet location at night as the promenade was just outside our window and the only noise came from the rolling waves. We ate in the Liegeoise restaurant on both evenings.... More
