As soon as we rang the doorbell at Les Sorbiers Rob and Rachel treated us like one of the family. Rooms are cosy and well thought out and the food was great, just what we needed after a hard day on the mountain. Whilst we didn't partake in the guided cycling we chatted with other guests that did and what... More

My wife, daughter and I only had time to stay one night in this beautiful area. The drive in and out is stunning. The area had recently been ravaged by severe flooding, there was damage of epic proportions. We were recommended by a local to Les Sorbiers. We were greeted by Rob with a cold beer which went down well. Our room was homely, well appointed,and... More

Having just completed my 2nd Raid Pyrenean under Rob's leadership this has been the outstanding tour of my life so far.His choice of expert ride guiders, with their superb sense of navigation and support needs kept us all cycling hard during the days and his anecdotes and stories laughing all the way to our beds in the evenings. With Chris,... More

I stayed at Les Sorbiers most recently in March of this year as part of a small group of family and friends, my family and I have been visiting Bareges to ski and staying at this hotel since I was a small child. It has always been a smashing little place but without a shadow of a doubt has got... More

Had a great week in Bareges staying with Rob and Rachel. Really made Jeremy and I feel at home with great food and wonderful hospitality. Our guide RIchard was super fit and very accommodating of our fitness level. The ascent to the Pic Du MIdi was a highlight. The flood damage to the village did not affect our stay. A... More

I started looking for a week’s break at short notice and stumbled over the Pyrenees Cycling website - what a find that was! An amazing week hosted by Rachel, Mary, Rosie and Rob Williamson (ladies first!) in a true home from home where nothing was too much trouble. Great food, company, accommodation and rides out into the surrounding area -... More

Les Sorbiers is a real find. A fabulously-located hotel expertly run by the wonderful Williamson family. This place has a real buzz. From the moment you're welcomed in you feel like one of the family. Our room was comfortable and quiet and our en-suite bathroom was spotless. The food was amazing. Rachel cooked us three courses every night and it's... More

For the second year running, I am delighted to write that my visit to the Pyrenees has been highlighted by my stay at one of the very best locations and hotels in France. Les Sorbiers, is run by the family team of Robert, Rachel, Mary and Rosie Williamson. The service ad welcome they provide is second to none. The rooms... More

I've been deliberating, since February, about whether or not to write a review on this place, it's family run and I don't want to cause offence, however, my story needs to be told: My booking at Les Sorbiers was very last minute, I called on the morning of my arrival and turned up later that day. Upon my arrival I... More

Certain people will like what we do and others not, obviously the reviewer didn't like his stay with us but its take a while for this person to decide. We would ask the prospective clients to read our other reviews and make their judgment on those and know that we are not 5* and do not offer 5* accommodation or... More
