My wife and I stayed here at the end of summer for a week-end. The room was clean, had an excellent view though the bed was a bit uncomfortable. The evening meal that came with the demi-pension was excellent. A choice of starters but none for the main course. That may be a problem for some but not for us....

Ax is a decent ski resort with good trees and easily accessible off-piste. Le Grillon was a nice surprise, room was basic but clean and warm with awesome views. Breakfast well worth it,service great, and at 46€ (breakfast extra) bringing my wife back here before the end of the season!

We have just spent three nights on demi-pension at this hotel and thoroughly recommend the meals, the price and the service. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. We had fresh towels each day. The shower, however, in our room (No 12), was on the small side and anybody of large proportions may find the whole bathroom area rather restrictive....
