We were 3 families, total of 15 people, teenagers, young adults and more mature adults. We had a great 5 night stay here in lovely bedrooms with balconies facing the rushing river. The rooms were inter-connecting, and very spacious and well decorated, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. Breakfast is continental, with plenty of choice and fresh pastries and... More

We booked a night in the family suite with our two (huge) teenage sons. It was perfect! Two very comfortable bedrooms with great beds and lovely linen. Really nice ambient modern lighting plus lots of character in the old stone walls. Location could not be better, a couple of minutes walk to the ski lift and also the town square.... More

I have stayed at this hotel a few times during the ski season and have found it very accomodating, friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet and within easy access to restaurants, shops and the bubble car ski lift. The old part (renovated recently) faces onto the street but is very quiet, the new part has balconies and looks onto the rushing waters... More

Stayed a night here in the new wing overlooking the river and I think this was the best place I stayed during a 10 day motorcycle trip through the Pyrenees. The view was fantastic overlooking the river and the biggest highlight was the restaurant, it was the best meal of the trip and they have a great wine selection. The... More

Stayed two nights , Sunday and monday, half board. These nights the resto was catering exclusively for residents. Our meals were fine, but not more! Service wasn't great. Room was fine, modern. Didn't like that it was linked to a patio shared with a number of other rooms. Compared with the other Logis hotel that we stayed at in Ax,... More

I really wanted to give this hotel a very good rating, but there were too many things wrong with it. We had acroom in the old part of the hotel which has been partly updated but needs more work. The room was nicely decorated and an extra bed. It wasn't very big and adequate for two but would have been... More

Unfortunately, our walking group was accommodated in the un-renovated part of the hotel. This meant that rooms were shabby, cramped and dark. There is no lift in this part of the hotel and cases had to be lugged down a narrow staircase from the 3rd floor as staff were unavailable to assist. At breakfast, coffee is provided by a machine... I have stayed here several times, maybe even five times over the years and I don't think I've reviewed it yet. If I have it is long overdue for an update. We went for a very spontaneous Friday night, staying in a superior, balcony room. These are by far the best. Room is bright, comfortable and very clean, good modern... More

During our 2-day getaway to Ax-les-thermes we stayed for 1 night in a suprerior room with a balcony and the view on the river and mountains. The room was very cosy with comfortable bed, extra pillows. I was surprised to discover nice bathroom amenities as soaps and shampoo/shower gels. The bathroom also had a balcony, which is rare. Reception staff... More

Great hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and pleasant (looked as though it had recently been renovated) with two balconies and fabulous views. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
