I have stayed here several times, maybe even five times over the years and I don't think I've reviewed it yet. If I have it is long overdue for an update. We went for a very spontaneous Friday night, staying in a superior, balcony room. These are by far the best. Room is bright, comfortable and very clean, good modern... More

During our 2-day getaway to Ax-les-thermes we stayed for 1 night in a suprerior room with a balcony and the view on the river and mountains. The room was very cosy with comfortable bed, extra pillows. I was surprised to discover nice bathroom amenities as soaps and shampoo/shower gels. The bathroom also had a balcony, which is rare. Reception staff... More

Great hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and pleasant (looked as though it had recently been renovated) with two balconies and fabulous views. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Traveled with. friends. Granted it is the "off" season and things have quieted down until ski season. Some amenities were not available in the hotel and the town. We had a fine time. Staff were very helpful in arranging some transportation. Our room was clean, comfortable and met our needs.

The hotel is well situated, and with a bit of luck it is possible to find a parking place not too far off. However, we were disagreeably surprised by the big difference between the rooms in the old part of the hotel and the new part. Rooms in the new part, though expensive, are comfortable enough. In the old part,... More

Traditional type place. Our room suffered from a bit of paint missing here and there but otherwise as expected. Parking was on road outside hotel. All staff seemed friendly enough and the hotel is close to the main town.

We travelled in a large family group and had a perfect time. Not everyone did ski but Ax is great with pool, shopping, bars, proximity to Andorra...etc and the hotel itself has a Jacuzzi and massages are also available! For skying, just put your boots on and hop on the telepherique just a few hundred meters down to get right... More

Stayed several nights at this hotel which is in a good situation near all the facilities of the town and was quiet at night. The only snag is that a coach cannot get near the hotel. There is an old part to the hotel which does not have a lift, so not ideal, and a new modern part that does.... More

We took a drive today to Ax-Les-Thermes to rekkie potential hotels to stay at should we ski in Bonascre this winter. We set of for the Chalet based on Tripadvisor reviews. The drive from Carcassonne (should anyone else be heading in that direction) is actually very pleasant, great roads, views, and little traffic. The town is very attractive with plenty... More

On our route to Andorra and Spain we booked this place for lunch. Lovely town, excelent and very beautifull location (al fresco dining amazing, wheater allowing of course). Very professional staff and one of the very best lunches I've EVER had (considering value for money). Amazing dishes, attention to detail on every plate, excellent wine list and professional staff (only... More
