Lovely room which looked like it had recently been refurbished to a high standard. Rooms were spacious and spotless and the bathroom had a bath - unlike most other hotels in Corsica. Fantastic views up the valley and of the surrounding mountains. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and you could eat this on the terrace by the river. Very convenient location... More

We were in Corsica between Christmas and New Year. We arrived in Corte late in the evening and found our way to the hotel with the help of the GPS and the signposting. It was further from Corte than we had anticipated. It was a steep drive down to the hotel. We drove past it the first time and then... More

Parking is a bit tricky - easier to park at the top if you have a big car. Beautiful grounds and secluded location - but still close enough to walk. Restaurant was in the next hotel - the food is amazing and this was not far.

The hotel looks from the outside very strange and unfriendly. Not very charming. Nobody wants to stay there. But they have new renovated rooms with good beds and clean bathrooms. We stayed in room #201 with river view. Breakfast is basic, everything there, good cheese. From the staff, you can have what you want. Don't expect always a friendly staff.... More

This is definitively a great hotel to stay in - I know that frequently, reviews are up and down in Trip Advisor, but frankly it seems that me and my family just did not stay in the same place than other users, who left harsh reviews. The place is great, at the very beginning of the Restonica valley - the... More

The good news The personnel serving drinks for breakfast are very nice and helpful. The river - although difficult to access - next to the hotel. The bad news Very unfriendly manager at the reception, not willing to listen to clients, keeps interrupting during discussion over the extra price for twin room compared to a double room, breakfast is poorly... The road to the hotel is on a "dirt" road. Do not be deterred and don't worry if you think you are lost. You aren't. The hotel is nestled on that diet road, with a babbling stream next to it, surrounded by mountains. The hotel is nice. We had room 308. It was ok and spacious. We had a king... More

Bit of an oddity. In some respects this hotel is excellent-location, room size, decor and facilities. However, it lacked atmosphere, partly because the lady on reception was a bit standoffish and not exactly mine host. Also because of lack of attention to detail. The radiators in our room and bedroom both leaked slightly, no sink plug, nowhere to hang the... More

All I have to say about the place is that- it is a wonderful property to stay in beautiful surroundings. Location of the hotel at the beginning of a narrow dead-end valley (Gorges de la Restonica) and in the middle of the forest makes it stand different from other places in the town. The room we got was wonderful and... More

It is a nice building and the rooms are large, looking recently refurnished. I don't know how crowded could be the place in summer but for winter time it is quite and nice !! The bed is wide and the place is overall clean for a nice stay.
