I've stayed here three times for a total of seven days. Corte is the place to stay on central Corsica. Hotel has central location. Well-maintained. Comfortable rooms. Excellent one euro breakfast in bar next door. One minor negative is disco behind hotel - lots of bass vibration on Thursday night/Friday morning when the university is in session. Otherwise, very quiet.... More

The Hotel du Nord is situated on the main commercial street in Corte, adjacent to restaurants, shops, and various landmarks. The rooms are modern, attractive, large, comfortable, clean, and quite. Due to the good window insulation there is no street noise. The owner is on hand providing friendly personal service with luggage, breakfast, and general local information. Parking was not... More

Hello and thank you for those lovely words. In a few words, you give us a good resume of what we propose to our customers. Freshly and renovated rooms, soundproofs efforts, friendly recommandations and advices.... we are not a luxury hotel, and don't pretend to be...the hotel is just like us... and we're glad you felt the same..thanks a lots.... Quite a walk from the railway station, partly up a steep hill. No taxi rank at the Station, merely numbers to ring. A further stiff climb to tourist information in the Citadel – more basic tourist information at the Hotel would have been helpful. Otherwise, the hotel is well situated in a main shopping street close to the town centre... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a hiking trip around Corsica. The hotel is located right in the center of Corte with great access to shops and cafes. it is also an easy (10 minute) walk up to the trail access for the Vallee du Tavignanu. Our room faced the main street and was very nice, clean,... More

We stayed two nights and were happy with our room and the Hotel staff. The arrangement for Breakfast in the Cafe below left something to be desired as they seemed to ration coffee and other food items. The reason became obvious on the second morning when we found the group of hikers staying at the same time had devoured a... More

Located in the center of Corte. Room was nice and clean (shutters did not work properly). Breakfast was ok. There is no private parking: we found parking at a reasonable rate in a nearby street (the street in front of the hotel is very busy and it is difficult to stop to download your baggage) Overall a pleasant experience but... Hotel du Nord is very centrally located on the main shopping street of Corte. However, if you arrive by train in Corte you have a quarter of an hours’ walk uphill before you reach the hotel. We were a party of four, one of whom had problems with his back and it was impossible to find a taxi. Two of... More

I turned up here after dark and was able to get a room without a problem. However, the following morning I saw a notice saying that the hotel was full... so maybe I turned up just in time to get the last room! I had been in the mountains, where it was quite cool, and I found Corte a little... More

Spent 2 nughts here in the middle of GR20 hike. Was impressed by the rooms, the breakfast (yummy white choc and hazelnut biscuits), the position (we had a rear room overlooking car park and cafe gardens, so no noise from the main street). Well located for touristic amenities, although you can walk to the large Casino supermarket and more affordable... More

Very nice atmosphere, a warm welcome, nice room an free wifi. It is a very nice place if you want to take advantage of the small town of Corte. We arrived by train and from the train station it is only 10 mints walk. Unfortunately they still have that uncomfortable pillows used in France.. Our fault! We should have asked... More
