We stayed here for one night as part of a hiking trip around Corsica. The hotel is located right in the center of Corte with great access to shops and cafes. it is also an easy (10 minute) walk up to the trail access for the Vallee du Tavignanu. Our room faced the main street and was very nice, clean,... More

We stayed two nights and were happy with our room and the Hotel staff. The arrangement for Breakfast in the Cafe below left something to be desired as they seemed to ration coffee and other food items. The reason became obvious on the second morning when we found the group of hikers staying at the same time had devoured a... More

Located in the center of Corte. Room was nice and clean (shutters did not work properly). Breakfast was ok. There is no private parking: we found parking at a reasonable rate in a nearby street (the street in front of the hotel is very busy and it is difficult to stop to download your baggage) Overall a pleasant experience but... Hotel du Nord is very centrally located on the main shopping street of Corte. However, if you arrive by train in Corte you have a quarter of an hours’ walk uphill before you reach the hotel. We were a party of four, one of whom had problems with his back and it was impossible to find a taxi. Two of... More

I turned up here after dark and was able to get a room without a problem. However, the following morning I saw a notice saying that the hotel was full... so maybe I turned up just in time to get the last room! I had been in the mountains, where it was quite cool, and I found Corte a little... More

Spent 2 nughts here in the middle of GR20 hike. Was impressed by the rooms, the breakfast (yummy white choc and hazelnut biscuits), the position (we had a rear room overlooking car park and cafe gardens, so no noise from the main street). Well located for touristic amenities, although you can walk to the large Casino supermarket and more affordable... More

Thanks a lot for your visit. We don't run a luxury hotel, but something efficient and friendly. And we try to do the best for our customers. Look forward to see you some other time. More

Very nice atmosphere, a warm welcome, nice room an free wifi. It is a very nice place if you want to take advantage of the small town of Corte. We arrived by train and from the train station it is only 10 mints walk. Unfortunately they still have that uncomfortable pillows used in France.. Our fault! We should have asked... More

Since it was winter, and since the person in charge of Hotel Les Jardins de la Glaciere had hurt his foot playing soccer, and he really didn't want to get up on a Sunday to take care of new tourists, we ended up at the Hotel du Nord. The hotel provides simple, clean rooms in a central, downtown location and... More

If you like old buildings with high ceiling (1850), enjoy being in the lively centre and appreciate friendly service without spending all your travel money in accommodation, the Hotel du Nord is perfect for you. Situated in the lively centre, the hotel is in a beautiful old building. However, our room was nicely furnished and had free wifi. Warm welcome,... More

Stayed for 2 nights during our rest day while walking the GR20. Good sized rooms and clean. Free Wifi which was a bonus. Breakfast was good and an interesting waitress who it is best to keep on the good side of :-)
