Non English speaking staff helped as best they could. Good WiFi in the cheapest hotel in town. Charmless hotel housed by many of the areas students and odd people it was OK for the night. Large room with good heating in quiet area suited our needs on a wet and miserable day. Near an excellent large grocers 3 persons for... More

The town of Corte is a major tourist stopover in central Corsica, and it is not particularly well endowed with hotels. When I stayed here, some of the more central places were full; HR hotel, however, always seems to have vacancies. The place is a somewhat bizarre cross-breed between a roadside motel and an oversized student dorm (yes, Corte does... More

We drove and couldnt find any hotels nearer the centre or Restonica for a night so had to stay here. Good: - for only €45 for a double room with shared bathroom/toilet, it was the cheapest place we'd been to - the young lady at reception was very pleasant and helpful -free parking & wi-fi, which surprisingly had decent connection... This hotel may be chosen for the price, particularly convenient and probably unbeatable in Corse/Corte. Besides that it has free wifi, a swimming pool and a garden. The rooms are very simple and old-fashioned, pillows are those ridiculous ones used everywhere in France till recent times (think about bringing your own pillows and pillow-cases). Nothing is provided besides the strictly... More

As we only decided to visit Corsica the day before, we thought we may not even be able find accommodation in Corte, being mid June. True, most places we looked at were booked out. Fortunately Hotel HR had vacancies ...and it was only a short walk to the railway station which suited us. The price did concern us a bit... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights recently and thought it was excellent budget accommodation. Clean, newly decorated "comfortable" room with en suite for 50 euros. Free internet access and wifi, swimming pool, very friendly, helpful staff.

HR is situated close to the railway station (about 300m) - not inside old Corte but within a walking distance. Casino supermarket is close-by. It is said to be constructed for the Foreign Legion during 1960s which explains thin walls (coughing from the neighboring room can be heard), spartan interiors and box-like design. Anyway, reception is very helpful, free WiFi,... More

This is a functional, institutional-looking building on the edge of Corte that is partly used as student accommodation. There is a range of rooms from 25 euros; I stayed in a double en-suite overlooking the central quadrangle at 55 euros. Though there's no traffic noise in these inward-facing rooms, soundproofing is non-existent and there was a lot of noise from... More
