Absolute astonishing location. Rooms are inside the old walls of the fort which gives a special sensation. Great service, certainly in the restaurant. Excellent wines. The food on the menu’s were not "WOW" but certainly above average. Overall a unique experience. more

The Chateau Fort Hotel is built inside the largest medeival castle in Europe. Staying there is a pleasurable and unusual experience. The ancient brickwork in the rooms and corridors makes for a very unusual ambience. Walking around the outside of the Castle and into Sedan itself also makes for a very relaxing time. more

We certainly found this hotel to be overrated. The reception and communal parts of the hotel are very cold and lack the charm and intimity that i expect from a hotel of this pricerange.
