Stayed for one night on the way to Spain. The hotel check in was advertised as opening at 5, we arrived just as they opened and we were warmly welcomed. The room was nice and cosy. We ate here in the evening and the food was excellent. The hotel grounds were very pretty, with private parking. Had a wander round... More

The hotel is well placed for travelling back through France en route to Calais. Very clean rooms - yes they are not huge but we didn't want to spend much time in our room. Great service from the young and well trained staff. It is worth knowing that the hotel does not open until 5.00p.m. but there is a nice... More

We didn't get off to a great start at La Pomme de Pin. The relatively late check-in time of 1700 is limiting, as there is absolutely nothing to do in the town which we'd planned to explore. After a coffee, and a walk to the lake and back, we phoned the Auberge at about 4 pm to ask if we... More

The Hotel is OK, It is positioned well if you want to walk in to the centre-2 mins. The room we were allocated was very small with hardly enough room to sit on the loo and had an awful damp smell which we discovered to be the hand basin leaking. HOWEVER, the restaurant is Excellent with some of the best... More

This hotel is nicely positioned just outside the centre of the town, with nice gardens with a pond and indoor swimming pool. The room was a bit cramped but had everything we needed and was clean. The food was the highlight; really good and the service was also excellent. The breakfast in particular was one of the best we've ever... More

Nice warm and comfrotable room.. Restaurant is a bit lazy - the food is fancy but not good enough and the waitress was off-hand. Excellent breakfast served by the very obliging and friendly owner.

Our room was a reasonable size and quiet but was not as clean as it should be. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant (there is not much choice in Senonches) which was very good but rather expensive.

Our bedroom was a reasonable size, with two steps down to a good bathroom. The bed was on a wooden base too big for it-painful on the shins! There was constant noise from an extractor fan or air.con, and this was with the windows shut. Dinner was very good and breakfast too, with fresh bread, good croissants and home-made jam.... More
