This was our 4th visit to Huttopia, after Rillé the last time. We took three other families with us this time, and by all accounts they had a blast, as did we. Senonches is built on a fairly big terrain, with a lot of space, very good facilities (huge terrace overlooking the lake, great sized swimming pool and big bar... More

When we first got here, it seemed like a ghost town! We soon found some people in the town and on Thursday a market is held where there were tonnes of people! No one was around and it took us 10 minutes to find the Huttopia. When we eventually found the Huttopia it didn't seem the way the town did.... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night while taking a slow journey back to the tunnel after two lovely weeks touring further South and West. Our biggest regret was that we were unable to stay longer at this site and in this beautiful part of France. The facilities at this site are excellent, without doubt the cleanest we... More

Great site. I have to say it is over priced for what it is. We stayed At the site as a stop over on the way down to the narbonne. The site has a lovely feel to site with a nice relaxed vibe. However, for fifty euros a night it is over priced. The 'pool' was closed as it had... More

We chose this camp site because if offered peace and quiet. It certainly did that. It was idyllic helped by the fact that cars are not allowed on the camping area - this made it a little irksome unloading all of our camping gear but it made such a difference to the quietness. It was informal with no marked pitches... More

This was our first experience of camping in France. We stayed in one of the cabanes (wooden cabins) which was great. It was very clean, pretty spacious inside (we were two adults and 2 boys aged 7 & 10) and reasonably well equipped, inside and out. The site itself was not overcrowded, and the total peace and quiet in the... More

My husband and I camped for 4 nights in August and the site is ideal for a short stay. The facilities were simple yet very clean & the staff were friendly and helpful. The chalets in the forest looked great. We had the option of camping in the woods, but decided to pitch our tent in the field, mainly to... More

La Foret on the edge of a small town in the Perche region is close to coast and near enough to explore Chartres. The hotel which is adjacent to open parkland provides comfortable clean accommodation and friendly efficient service. The bedrooms mix modern and traditional décor and ours was large and included a four poster bed. The hotel restaurant (which... More

So me and my husband booked a forest pitch for one night. When we arrived at the campsite it was very quiet and nothing was signposted and couldn't find the reception to check in. Once we found the reception we were told we could not park next to our pitch and that we would have to have BBQs in designated... More

Wood cabins, roaring fires & a wonderful location. We stayed in late October & had the touring area to ourselves. Restaurant opened for pizzas only. I can imagine the place is great in the Summer with swimming, boating, volleyball, football, and a games room/library upstairs. The glass-fronted restaurant on the edge of the lake is pretty special.
