My wife and I stayed 1 night. Chantal and Jean Francois were charming and very welcoming. They recommended a great place for dinner and made a booking for us. The chateau is beautiful and stylish. We had the "Beatles Room" which was much more tasteful than I expected. Next morning we had breakfast outside -with a brilliant selection, lovely coffee... More

Our hosts, Jean Francois and Chantelle were as accommodating and solicitous as we could have wished. The rooms were large and tasteful with wide shutters overlooking the property and a beautiful valley. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious. On the first night we had dinner prepared by our hosts; it was fresh, creative and delicious. Jean Francois provided bicycles and ferried... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. For us this was a base for exploring the nearby town of Agen and the countryside. We could not have chosen a better spot. Spacious room and bathroom. Room very nicely decorated. Windows have shutters that keep out the heat during the day and too much light early in the morning. Good... More

Sometimes you are met with something out of the ordinary and it just makes you very happy that it exists. Besides the fact that this Chateau it extraordinary in itself, the hosts are so genuinely welcoming. I have stayed in many Chambre D'hotes and the difference to hotels should be a more personal and homely atmosphere. It rarely is! But... More

This place really is as good as claimed in the previous reviews, and there are so many complementary things written that it's tempting to think: "why bother with yet another encomium?". But even if one can't be original, a place this good deserves acknowledgement. Chantal and Jean-Francois are peerless hosts, and experts at making visitors feel like guests in their... More

Jean Francois and Chantal have done an amazing job restoring this lovely 17C chateau, about a mile up a private drive, set up on a ridge looking out over the valley and surrounded by ancient trees, including two 250 year old magnolia grandiflora and a vast tulip tree. The rooms are huge, light and airy, (we stayed in Cotton, furnished... More

Jean-Francois and Chantel could not have been kinder and more helpful. A French couple, fluent in English. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic. The surroundings are extremely peaceful. A beautifully refurbished chateau to the highest spec. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for the ultimate bucolic, away from the madding crowd, experience you will find it here. Jean-Francois and Chantal are the best hosts you will ever find. The chateau exudes history and charm. The rooms are themed, with accompanying furniture and quirky details. The breakfasts are to die for.
