What do you.want-a dose of Campylobacter and smelly rubbish bins thrown in for 'edginess'? A superb, classy and well-run resort In a beautiful and historically-significant part of the Southern Black Sea Bulgarian coast. Well worth a stay!!

We stayed here for a week self catering (June 2014) and really enjoyed our stay. We agree with all the other positive reviews. The complex has 5 pools, 2 beaches, numerous restaurants and other facilities; you are spoilt for choice. Most of the other guests were either Russian or Bulgarian which makes sense given that the park is privately owned.... More

Neat villas surrounded by pine trees and well kept flowers, fountains and pools. It was calm and peaceful in May.The studio has all you need, clean and spacious with sea view. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, also the bellboy. No cars allowed in the complex, guests are being transported by golf carts. The only thing i didn't like was the... More

arrived at hotel, not a particularly welcoming bunch. Huge resort, brochure says 100 villas, each villa contains several apartments. A bit economical with the truth, as there are about 800 apartments, if I'd have known, I would not have booked. However, the complex is very clean and well maintained, apartments are of a high standard. Maid service every day, which... More

Staying now, Apartment not clean, after 3 time complain they start to clean the apartment. The staff have a very low standard for cleaning. In Austria the Sanitary Department closing you the business. Reception of the hotel is not good trained. Restaurant no comment, better to close. General you see that nobody trained the staff. Management is missing.

The management seem to be looking for ways of making extra money. Eg £35 for lost key, £35 for broken (cheap) kettle and £5 for a broken glass tumbler. Also, count your towels on last day, a scam seems to be that they will give you less towels and then try to charge you for "missing" towels. Totally spoils what... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in late June having to move apartments as we had made 2 separate bookings when extending our stay. The first apartment was lovely - in the 500's (at the top of the site) but had a mezzanine with a staircase in the room which our 13 month old toddler spent the entire time trying... More

Santa Marina was much better than expected, with terrific scenery. The gardens are very well kept and everything is in good taste. The apartment we had was one of the best we have stayed in, large, bright with white furniture and a great sea view. Beware though, not all the apartments are alike. In fact, they can be very different... More

If you looking to spend your holiday with your family,( especially for families with kids) Santa Marina is the best option. We have been here two times,( 2008 and 2012 ) and all members of my family said - don't look for other location, this is perfect, this is what we need. With two private beaches, I don't remember how... More

I spent several nights here in may 2013, I had a big room facing the gulf. The resort is huge I mean like 800 rooms! If you can get one with a sea view or pool view it would be better. The room was big and well equiped. You have acces by a bridge to a beautiful beach. Also it's... More
