The apartment was very good and cleaned every day, however, we went in first week of September and there were no activities for the children, all the cheaper wine was off the menu in the restaraunts, as reception stated it was the end of the season!! Food was very poor in both the pizzeria and the main resteraunt. Most staff... more

We just spent a week at Santa Marina complex. The experience exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed the quiet but comfortable general environment of the place. The studio was spacious and very clean with a huge terrace and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was clean and modern and the shower had very good water pressure. The pools in the complex... more

After having suffered a re-scheduled late night flight (thanks Balkan!) we were pleased that the people on reception had listened to our request for a 'high floor with sea views' - that's exactly what we got. First impressions were very good, smart, light, modern apartment with huge balcony overlooking the bay - although fourth floor with no lift may cause... more

We couldnt fault the hotel Santa Marina - it was fantastic, we were very pleased with it. You dont need beach towels as they provide them for you - rooms were spotless, and cleaned every day. a lot of them are owned by others though so not all are balkan holidays, and we found we were in the minority when... more

THE HOTEL I have just returned from the Santa Marina hotel, and I would certainly recommend it highly. The hotel is situated about 10mins car ride away from Sozopol. It is a large complex - you share with people who have bought homes there - and it is built amongst trees, which saves it from looking like a 'super hotel'.... more

We've just got back from a fantastic 11 nights at the Santa Marina booked with Balkan Holidays. This hotel is magnificent. Everything is brand new, as you would expect, and so clean and modern. I could have spent all day in the room, it was lovely. No oven though but with the price of food over there, you will rarely cook.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks in Sept 2007 and found the complex modern and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and the a la carte retaurant food was so good that we ate there most nights. The town of Sozopol was lovely and featured beautiful architecture and artwork. Some of the food was nice and some... more

We booked our stay via Balkan Holidays, I had a one bedroom apartment for myself and two young children. The resort is magnificent, huge, spectacular pools, large, clean apartment with two balconies overlooking the pool and the sea. The beach is just a short walk from the resort - nothing special but clear, calm very shallow water, perfect for small... more
