Outstanding hospitality and old world charm at this family run hotel, and restaurant close to the airport near Salzburg. Beautifully situated with mountain views and on a working farm, the hotel is well-appointed and designed to please the most discriminating traveler. I don't want to leave.

This time we were travelling to Salzburg-Austria again, to do some Christmas Shopping and enjoy the Ambiente of the town and to see the "Weihnachtsmarkt" only a couple of days before the season. We enjoyed the extremely nice breakfast this Hotel offers , which is included in the room rental. Unfortunately this Hotel was so booked out, that we could... More

The accommodation is first class, and the cuisine offered at this very nice family run hotel and restaurant ist second to none. The people are friendly, offer very good value for the money. While vacationing in Salzburg, I met a local girl who spoke a little English and between her English and my German we hit it off. When I asked her the place to go, she scribbled down in quick words a name that I (who happen to speak a pretty good deal of German!) could not pronounce...or really read. Honestly? I... More

We seem to return to this friendly, family-run hotel every 5 to 10 years. Its good location for visiting Salzburg and the Salzkammergut, the large, multi-room restaurant serving good homely Austrian food, and the view of the nearby mountains from most of the rooms provides for an excellent combination. Salzburg is less than 15 minutes drive away. If you drive... More

Salzburg was our 4th stop after 9 days of holiday. We arrived early before check in time and they were kind enough to let us check in and leave our luggage in the room. The room was clean, cozy, beautiful bathroom and a balcony. We loved to wake up every morning in this room. The sun shine through the courtains... More

I stayed here many times between 2004-2007 whenever I was passing through Salzburg, needed a nice hotel, but did not want to spend $400 for the Sacher downtown. The hotel is new or newly refusbished, offers clean and comfortable rustic rooms, nice people, and a sizable restaurant serving rustic Austrian fare (soups, dumplings, roasts, wienerschnitzel, wurst - you get the... October 6,2006 We have just stayed at the Hotel Laschenskyhof for about the fifth time and have enjoyed staying there each time. The location is near Salzburg in the country with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is large and decorated with all the quaint furniture of the area --but new. The large rooms have all the... More

When visiting Salzburg we originally planned to stay in the heart of the city, but after seeing the traffic in town decided to try one of the hotels just outside of town. We lucked into the Hotel Laschenskyhof which is in a rural area just a couple of miles west of the center of town. It was a great experience.... More
