Is not about the nature or surroundings, they are beautiful. Costa Rica in general is beautiful!!! The hotel, formerly Cascada Verde Eco Lodge, a nightmare in service when we stayed. We decided to book several rooms for 4 nights, 5 rooms, 13 adults and 2 small children, for our annual family reunion. Breakfast paid too. Everything was handled via email... More

I had very mixed feelings about my stay at Cascada Verde. While it was warm and welcoming and set amidst a beautiful forest, there´s also a complete lack of privacy, a sense of isolation (can be good and bad), and you´re sure to emerge covered in bug-bites if you´re not careful. The following PROs and CONs are listed in order... More

Sorry for the kid's noise! But we don't know what to do if guests get up so early... And I checked our email conversation again: You were right! We said 16$. I feel very bad... I noted it wrong in my book. Please apologize! You get a nice discount if you visit us again :-) Because of the bugs: I'm... More

Peaceful, serene atmosphere, and open concept design. It was like staying on platforms in a forest tree-house. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, and there are lots of hammocks and quiet areas to enjoy the surroundings. A five minute walk to lovely waterfall and dips in the cascade pools costs only $1 per person, which goes to maintain... More

You feel at home the minute you drop your bags and start relaxing in the hammock. The family that runs the hostel is so nice and friendly. The big shared kitchen invites to meet other people. There is a waterfall just a 5 minutes walk, where you can swim and relax. The village is a 15 minutes walk, with an... More

I spent only one night here, but I could have easily spent much longer. The hostel is about a 30 minute walk from town, far from street noise and craziness. We stayed in the loft for $7 pp where we had an open-air view of forest through a mostly bamboo building. Perfect place for peace.

We stayed one night as a group of friends and had a very good time. The architecture is very special and beautiful. You have a true nature experience. The place is very clean and the shared kitchen has everything you want if you feel like cooking. There is a nice waterfall very close for a dip. The owners are very... More

We stayed one night at the Cascada Verde hotel and would love to go back! After spending 3 nights at a hotel on the beach in Dominical, we wanted to experience a little bit more from the jungle. This place is just perfect for that! It is located a few km from Uvita, perfect to go for groceries. The beach is... More

we heard from another traveller about this special place on earth and made a reservation for 2 nights. But the warm welcome of the owners, the calm atmosphere of the place, the hammocks everywhere, the nice, clean and cozy room, the junglenoises around us, the light and spacious house and the opportunity to cook as well as to share meals... UNBELIEVEABLE charming, clean rooms made of wood, very nice people around, nice owner couple, we planned to stay there one night and spend at least one weak there, it is on a small hill near a waterfall in the woods, very close to nature. There is also a big kitchen and tables on nice places to eat. You should go there!
