While this is a nice place to stay, it is not a botique hotel and therefore is very overpriced. The positives; it has a nice view, the bed is comfortable, it has hot water and the staff are friendly. These things need improving if they want to be a true botique hotel and charge those prices; the room layout, the... More

This is small hotel with around 13 rooms located high in the jungle hills with a stunning view of the Ocean. The rooms are individual bungalows which are all glass and have clean crisp feel to them, the beds are large and soft allowing for some great nights sleep listening to the noise of the jungle. There is no TV... More

We recently spent four amazing nights at Oxygen Jungle. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles AND a tropical cocktail! The glass villas are enchanting. Privacy was never a concern as the layout and lush foilage offer a sense of peace, solitude, and exotic tranquility. It felt... More

We recently visited Oxygen Jungle Villas in Uvita, Costa Rica...after a beautiful drive from San Jose, we climbed up the hill and our SUV and finally pulled into the AMAZING Oxygen Jungle Villas...This is a great hotel for couples...with beautiful clean villas, comfortable beds and great staff. The restaurant at the hotel was INCREDIBLE!! really...it was! We kept thinking about... More

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Costa Rica for five nights. We stayed in both a jungle room and an ocean view room, both were lovely but the jungle rooms are more private though. The resort and the pool area is very relaxing, everything in white with Oriental statues here and there. The rooms are well equipped... More

My husband and I stayed at Oxygen 10-16 January. It was wonderful! Let me first say that, while you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, the drive up is not treacherous. It is quite bumpy and steep at times, but we never felt nervous or afraid of not making it up (we had the cheapest 4 wheel drive Budget offered).... More

Oxygen was everything and MORE than I expected. An absolutely beautiful setting, extraordinary clean and well kept boutique resort. The food was amazing and the staff extremely attentive. All my requests and needs were handled with a smile, graciously, and promptly. The glass jungle villa (#11) could not have been more wonderful. Like sleeping in a tree house in the... More

To start with the good, the view and pool are great, some of the staff are really excellent, and the 'cabins' are cool. However....it's basically a really high end hostel. Service is erratic, no phone in the room in case you have any problems, the electrics on the safe didn't work so you had to use a little key they... More

We recently stayed here and had a great time. First the positives: The rooms are very nice, with the all glass building material being a very nice touch. The jungle villas have a lot more privacy than the ocean view rooms. The pool is great, very relaxing to lounge and look out over the very nice infinity pool to the... More

My wife and I stayed there on the second half of our honeymoon. First, Uvita. It's incredible. It's pure CR, but with ZERO tourists. Oxygen is just fantastic. The drive up and down the road to get there is crazy, but it's kind of fun. We had a 4x4, so it was a non issue and we went up and... More
