This past March I had the honor of co-leading a yoga & Pilates retreat at The Sanctuary. It was my first time both in Costa Rica and at the Sanctuary. Honestly, it could not have gone better. This had almost everything to do with The Sanctuary. Well, and we also had a really rockin’, down to earth group of participants... More

The Sanctuary at Two Rivers exceeded every expectation I had, which, coming from the Hospitality industry are quite high. As soon as the plane landed in Tambor I knew this experience was going to be an adventure. What I didn't know, was how the Sanctuary at Two Rivers could truly bring peace into my soul. I am not much of... More

I bid on this yoga retreat during a charity event after reading about it and thinking what a great trip to experience. I won the bid, and embarked on my journey to the jungle in April. Well, little did I know how amazing of an experience I would have. You are in the jungle, surrounded by the most beautiful plants... More

"Welcome to the Jungle", the name of the retreat I led, perfectly described how I felt upon arrival - welcomed and in the jungle. For 4 months I combed through the website hundreds of times, becoming intimate with housing, travel arrangements, the menu, activities avail off the grounds like surfing, ziplining and hikes all of which I took advantage of... One of the most magical experiences of my life--yoga and meditation in the jungle, the sound of monkeys and birds, hiking through streams and swimming in river pools, jumping off rocks, swimming in the lap pool, showering outside, and surfing in the nearby ocean. the tree houses are first class and the food is gourmet, better than the best Manhattan... I attended a retreat called "Jungle Alchemy" at the Sanctuary at Two Rivers in February 2013. It was an amazing, transforming experience. The Sanctuary is lovingly located on the Nicoya Peninsula in between two rivers and next to the Pacific Ocean. It is very remote, while at the same time luxurious. I stayed in a jungle treehouse built on stilts... More

I came to the Sanctuary as a host for a yoga retreat. Having visited retreat centers across the US and around the world, I know what I like and this place is my favorite!!! I highly recommend bringing a group here. It is the perfect combo of wild yet posh, the accommodations are extremely inviting, comfortable and clean, the yoga... More

Elizabeth Lindh, Dr. Steve Curtin and I had the pleasure of hosting the healing retreat "Re~Awaken the Wild with Jungle Alchemy" at The Sanctuary. Using the land to its fullest expression, we danced hard at night, practiced heart opening yoga in the morning and explored the wild grounds during the afternoon. As a teacher I found I was filled with... More

This had to be the best vacation I had ever been on. The moment you arrive a peaceful feeling of freedom and inspiration arises! Unlike some trips you may be concered of what new enviornment may bring, but here it's all hummingbirds, butterflies, monkeys, gourmet food, beautiful flowers, and very passionate people! This is a very special place where you... More
