Spent 2 days and 1 night in this lodge last night. Took a ride on road from Tawau to Semporna. Registered at Seahorse Sipadan Office near the Semporna Jetty. Then took 30-40 mins boat ride to Mabul Island. The lodge is somewhat low budget accomidation, but 5 star hospitality. The workers including the divemasters were really nice. The rooms are... More

Best choice for a laid back experience. Facilities are pretty basic but can't complain because you're just in your room to rest and sleep. Most of the time you'll be out in the sea. At night you can expect a fun musical time under the night sky with the staff. Almost all can sing and play you any songs of... More

In on the other side of the Island. We had a room that contained a double bed and a single with sea view. I asked for the room number 2, 3, or 4 but they were not available. Bit weird because there was nobody sleeping there in the 2 days we stayed. The best rooms are 1 to 5 six... More

Second visit. Have always enjoyed every moment here, it is a very special place. Perfect if you want a laid back experience away from the back packer trail. Each time we've met amazing Malaysians who come back for the service this small place gives. Each time I've had my teenage daughter with me and have had every confidence in our... More

I was unable to book a room at the Scuba Junkie resort, which far surpasses this "resort". I ended up with Seahorse by contacting them via email. They are located in the thick of the local fishing village population on the east coast of the island.Think cardboard walls on stilts and spartan accommodations. It's a budget backpacker place, but the... More

This accommodation might provide just basic facilities for all of the guests, and far from any luxurious stay you could imagine, but the people at the lodge are so kind, treating you like family, and make it harder for you to leave at the end of your stay - Each room is attached with a bathroom, but no toiletries are... I booked the PADI open water package here and was extremely happy I did. The staff here are extremely friendly and the whole place feels like a big family. The diving instruction is relaxed but professional. Whilst the accommodation is pretty basic, this is reflected in the price ( a fraction of the cost of the posh resorts nearby on... More

I already been here twice time (Oct 14 and Jan 15) and I will keep coming here in the future. The staffs are really great, and u will feel they like ur close family. The DM's (Joe, Ben, Arif) patiently teach us underwater skill and ensure our safety while scuba diving (we are new certified diver). After every dive, their... More

Like: I book the package only for 1 day based on my friend recommendation. Including in that package are the meal (Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner), 2 snorkeling, 1 triple room. They gave me triple room even I was solo. The staffs are really friendly. They took care of us during snorkeling session. I feel secured and safe. The food is good but... More
