The bungalows are situated in a calm and semi-remoted part of the long beach between Jambiani and Paje. It was great to walk the beach, just meeting a few tourists and locals. We were not very satisfied with our cabin, it was small and warm and situated far from the sea, but the bungalows with seawiev was really nice. The... More

I stayed here from Christmas Day for two weeks. Great place to relax with not much else to do. The bungalows are rustic but great and my room was always kept very clean and tidy. I cant say enough about how great the staff are. Very friendly and welcoming from day one until leaving and right from when I arrived... More

I stayed by myself for four nights of relaxing by the ocean and doing some scuba diving near by. Very enjoyable stay. It's a bit rustic and simple (no A/C for example) but that's part of the charm and commensurate with the very reasonable price paid (US$35 per night in my case.) Service was excellent and very personable - most... More

Mbuyuni is the sort of place you go when you just want to get away from it all, enjoy the sun and do nothing. We spent 3 days there and didn't want to leave. This resort paradise is located right on the beach and is a series of various sized bungalows suited for couples, large groups or families. There is... More

We are used to travelling in Asia where you get very good rooms on the beach for reasonable prices. We were so delighted to find Mbuyuni Beach Village which offered the best price (67,000TZS) for a large private room with a huge bathroom, hot water and wifi and a lovely breakfast. Service was so professional, which you expect from the... More

I spent 15 days at Mbuyuni Beach Village when I was in Zanzibar. It was the cheapest we could find in the area, so we didn't really expect much of the place, but we where pleasantly surprised when we got there. The food is nice, the pool area is clean, the rooms are all right although we had a fan... More
