I spent 2 nights in that place, I can't deny that the location is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, the sea is great for swimming and the weather was perfect (March), the swimming pool was not bad as well. The room was big but it was not clean at all, and at night it is just a... More

We found Mbuyuni Beach Village after asking around for a good and affordable place to stay in Jambiani with young kids. Arranging our stay was done in a quick and efficient way by email and they even help us book a car in Zanzibar. For an extremely reasonable price, we got a very spacious family room with 3 beds, a... We spent 7 nights at this place, we had bungalow with view on swimming pool and ocean from terrace that was amazing. Room and bathroom are big with huge beds. Not luxury but kept in African style. Staff is very friendly and helpful plus food was great and not expensive. Quite and safe area where you can enjoy and relax.

We ended up staying here last minute without prior booking, it was really cheap, for two nights for two people it was 144,000 TZS, (Appox. £30 each) and it was amazing! At first, the front path was deceptive as it was rocky and looked abandoned, but as soon as we reached it my jaw dropped what a beautiful place. Tropical... More

I just had one night at Mbuyuni, but I was extremely pleased with the value for money- for this price I did not expect to have such a spacious room overlooking the pool- which was clean and well maintained. The beach looked great, but I did not go into the ocean at Mbuyuni, but a bit father up at Paje... More

Mbuyuni is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms, a lovely warm shower, nice pool, great food and an excellent, relaxed atmosphere. And all this for a great price. Manager Uhuru is great to talk to if you want to learn more about this part of Zanzibar. Also interesting is to do a village tour of Jambiani. I visited a seaweed... More

We did not expect this place being so beautiful. The rooms are so big and nice with a balcony overlooking the sea. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Find out about tides the day before for a swim in the sea or use the pool. The place is so relaxing we did not want to leave... More

When travelling, I always use Trip Advisor, review hotels in my price range & then make a short list of about 5 that suit my needs. This is what I did for Paje but when I went to book a week in advance, every one of my choices was fully booked due to a film festival in Stone Town. I... More

I stayed there for 2 nights. The place itself is very nice, nice food, friendly/helpful staff. They arranged a snorkeling trip which was very nice (and reasonable priced as I was the only one on the dhow). The pool is very clean. The beach in front of the hotel is not good for swimming. There are sharp rocks in the... More

The rooms are very big and clean. there is more than enough space for the luggage. There is a sofa inside, two beds, a big table and a shelf for the cloth. The best was the big balcony with a sofa and a outside-bed.A rope for the cloth...and a very nice view to the ocean. Unfortunately the access to the ocean... More
