Lovely place to stay. Only thing missing is a swimming pool! The owner is friendly and always on hand. Helpful staff and peaceful. Nice beach and close to two small villages which have totally different atmospheres. Totally recommend it as a get away. There is an amazing spit you can walk out into the sea on too...

Villa de Coco is right on the beach and it's so nice to just walk up and down the stretch, either to the more touristy side of Paje or the local Jambiani village. The owner, Manuella, is extremely nice and helpful. Able to arrange trips and taxis for you and stopping for a chat. The employees are very polite and... More

We stayed at Villa de Coco for 4 nights in late June 2014. From the first moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and given an orientation by Faustin. Not only was Faustin wonderful, the rest of the staff was as well, including Waziri who took our food orders and was very helpful with our personal requests. On our first... More

I spent 5 nights in this small resort. What I can tell?! Simply lovely. The place, the beach, the staff and the food. The snorkeling with a local boat was SUPER and The Swahili Dinner excellent! I hope to come back soon.

I was met at the airport and driven to Jambiani about 1 hour away. On arrival I was greeted by Manuela, the owner, who was extremely pleasant but apologised profusely due to my room not being ready because of flight complications for the previous people. So she had arranged for me to stay right next door at the next lodge... More

We stayed there for 5 nights. The room had garden and ocean view- beautiful!! The room inside is simple, a standart bad and shower. The hotel is remote from center of the island so its perfect if you want relaxing, peace & quiet. Dont expect a five star hotel, the charm of this place is in its simplicity and natural... More

It's a great place to chill at specially for honeymooners. The hotel doesn't have much entertainment, but the staff make it up for you. They have a tour guide called Fuastine, he is one of the best in that island, he is a very nice man to stick with for a tour, and he puts so much effort to entertain... More

Comfortable rooms, right on the beach. The breeze kept the room cool and the well managed staff kept it very clean. I am a vegetarian and there was enough choice in their restaurant. Their homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli was the best pasta I have ever eaten, and that includes 2 holidays in Italy!

I really enjoyed the food there. My starter, which was prawn coctail was very good, and my main (calamari and prawns skewers) was superb! The owner (an Italian woman) was very nice and helpful! The service was a bit strange, as we were 6 of us and they wanted to serve the started only for 2 of us first, but... More

Very quiet location with a long stretch of beach to go for walks. Food was ok, ate there at the buffet night, this was a bit overpriced but good variety. The owners were very actively involved in the running of the place which was good, the general manager was not quite as efficinet as promised but the rest of the... More
